I contacted Hargrave Family Law last week. I'm in the very beginning stage(s) of what I hope will be a smooth transition into the next part of my life's journey. They have been nothing short of incredibly kind, understanding, and the tone of conversation(s) via text, phone or email, have been so comforting, patient and not rushed. I received a call from Ms. Toi Angelle this afternoon, and again, I feel like I'm going to be in great hands. I've made contact over the years to other law firms, and I felt nothing by way of empathy in most cases. During a time like this, a person wants to know that they are supported, and they don't have to go it alone emotionally, amongst other things. I'll try to come back and update once I'm in the thick of things, but right now I just wanted to thank everyone I've had contact with, it means more than you'll ever know. I have to tell you that I'm a strong person, but even I know I still need others to make it, none of us can make it alone. I'm about to remix this message if I don't stop, and simply say, thank you all for what you've given me so far. I know it's redundant, but that's just worth saying more than once. I want to add something below, because it was some time after I had already determined that it was time for me to make a very hard choice. My hope is that it speaks to someone who needs to hear it, because in my opinion, this was a gentle way of telling a person to maintain their peace, don't entertain anything that is going to take you out of character, or crack your foundation. You have to know when it's time to make an adjustment, and most of all, you can/will survive it. Deion Sanders recently had a comforting conversation with his eldest daughter, Deiondra Sanders, and here's what he said: "The greatest gift in the world is the ability to walk away"

I had a beautiful experience I had a representative that truly seem to care about my needs and how the process works. Thanks again Toi you are amazing.

Unfortunately, I was only able to get operator/receptionist on the phone. Though it was almost noon, she responded as if she were just waking up. I told her who I was and why I was calling (referral from Bar Association) and she responded by telling me that I had CALLED a law firm.🤣😂 Would the Bar Association refer to me someone who was NOT an attorney? Then, she asked if I was an attorney.😂😂 I had told her who I was and why I was calling… besides, would an attorney call the Bar Association referral service, looking for an attorney?? Good luck with this firm! I’m sure the attorney is more intelligent but you might never reach him, with this woman answering the phone.

I don't think they are suitable to represent immigrants. I had to literally repeat 3 times each time to make her understand me . I rarely had to do that except for some people who have never dealt with immigrants,. Check their page; almost all white, all women.

I can't personally speak to Jennifer's professional skills, but I've heard very positive reviews through word of mouth. What I can share is something even more significant than professional expertise: the importance of being a kind and caring person. Last year, I went through one of the most challenging times in my life as my mother was placed on hospice care. Unless you've experienced the loss of a mother, it's hard to truly empathize with that pain. My daughter, Toi, shared what our family was going through, and Jennifer took the time to share her own heartfelt journey, which she had journaled during her mother's transition. Not many people would take the time to support a stranger in such a difficult moment, and I will always cherish her kindness.
