Cons
1
Rude and dismissive behavior towards some clients
“Elliot is the rudest attorney...unless you're rich from the beginning. All I got was a consultation where he says "pay me 10k to give you any advice" after listening to an entire story. He ask for money to even give you a direction. He rushed me off the phone when I told him I did not have $10,000 and when he asked if I have any friends to borrower from - I do not. He said he does not have time and went to hung up.”
2
Lack of responsiveness and poor communication with clients
“I called and left thirteen messages (recorded this) for Elliott at the rate of two messages per day for him to return my calls and he never did.”
3
Potential for overcharging and not delivering on promised services
“He sent the letter out without giving me a chance to review it. The wording of his letter caused more trouble because of it's demanding and threatening manner and I never would have wanted him to send this letter had he given me the opportunity to review it. A lot of trouble resulted for me because of his letter and to make matters worse, he then tried to keep the whole $1,000 retainer fee for sending out one letter, a letter that I spent hours trying to get him to send out in the first place.”
