Going through any legal battle with an ex that involves your children and family law is not easy or a laughing matter. I was with my previous attorney and found that they couldn't properly handle the complexity of our case. My previous attorney also wasn't professional enough to admit that to me and made some questionable decisions that led me to find a new attorney. Lisa was recommended to me as well as a few others, but Lisa and her team were like finding new long lost family members. She listened to what had been happening and understood my needs and I decided she was the way to go. Lisa, Paul, Brenda and Jessica are all so kind and compassionate! My previous attorney would constantly have me sounding like a broken record by never listening and asking the same things over and over while charging me for those pointless repeat conversations. Lisa and her team remember those important conversations and make you feel like a human being and not just another dollar walking through the door. Lisa McKnight is an amazing attorney! She is sharp, extremely skilled and professional both inside and outside the courtroom. I have never seen a more inappropriate attorney practice law. She badgers witnesses and appears to delight in asking inappropriate questions despite them being successfully objected to just to damage credibility—all While incorrectly spouting “HIPAA laws” that she clearly does not understand.

I wish I could give Lisa more than 5 stars, because she truly deserves it. She has helped my family tremendously in a time of crisis, and has helped to provide stability for the kids in the family. I would give Lisa 10000 stars if I was able. She is hands down the best lawyer in Dallas. I’m a black father and was given bad legal advice by a previous lawyer that put me in a hole in my case. Lisa was able to bring my son home to me and worked with me every step of the way. She values honesty, integrity and I believe that is what makes her great.
