UPDATE: After my review was posted Gina G. reached out. We discussed my concerns with the way the case was handled. She apologized and worked tirelessly to come to a resolution keeping me informed through emails and phone calls. I am pleased to report a resolution has been reached. The hospital bill has been paid and I just received an appropriate settlement in the mail. To be honest, I did not expect a response but Gina took the review serious and did an outstanding job that resulted in a favorable end for the both of us. INCOMPETENT. This is the only way to describe this bogus law firm. I was rear ended at a red light in April 2022. First responders showed up and I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I called Hernandez Law and the investigator showed up at my job the next day. Answered all his questions and gave him copy of the police report. Next were the medical appointments, which they referred and were really suspect. At first all seemed good, they kept in contact through email and text messages...then crickets. Months will go by and nothing. Repeated text messages to Mayra and Gabriela go unanswered. December 2023 I get a voice mail from Gina in litigation. I called back twenty minutes later, left VM. No response. January 2024 call again and leave VM on Gina’s phone. No response. In the meantime the hospital kept contacting me for payment. Told them I have legal representation and gave them Hernandez’s information. February 2024 called Gina again, left VM. She finally returns call and says the other insurance company is not cooperating and will probably have to go to litigation. I say ok, let’s do it. But they might have trouble settling my case because I have a history of car accidents. Wait, what? I told her you have me mixed up with someone else. I was hit in 2018 and the one before that was in the 1980’s. *Red Flag*. Gina calls back February 27, 2024 to say litigation might not be the answer but I can settle and probably get $1,500 in my pocket. I said fine, it’s going on two years just finish it. Was surprised with the relief in her voice when I said lets settle. *Red Flag*. Gina calls back March 4th to say it’s more like $300 I’ll get back. Two years, an ambulance ride to the ER and a wrecked truck and all they can do is $300?!? March 19th, I get an email from Juan Hernandez with a document attached. Has Hernandez Law in the letterhead to sign and agree to a settlement of $200 and pay the hospital balance of $600!! Why the hospital not paid in full but their shady medical people were paid? Listen to the negative reviews. They are true. Like other negative reviews they’ll probably say they can’t find any evidence of my case. I’m sure if they ask Mayra, Gabriela or Gina they can find something. I do not recommend Hernandez Law. Call Ben.
