DO NOT HIRE!!!! I hired this “attorney” to help with my passport since it was taking so long after I submitted the application. She said that she would submit a request under the FOIA. After a couple of months I received a letter from the state department requesting more documentation. I immediately called the attorney’s office and spoke to Jose who told me to get him the documentation so that they could submit it to the state department. I acquired the documents and sent them to the attorney and trusted that they would submit this to the state department. Several months later I get a letter from the state department saying that my passport had been denied because the documents requested had never been submitted. When I finally got Mrs Kelso to call me back, she was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude. She informed me that Jose had been fired because he was no longer able to perform his duties after his sister died and made it seem that there was no validity to my conversation with him since it had been over the phone and there was no emails to back it up. Needless to say the documents were never submitted to the state department and I paid $500 for absolutely nothing because she wasn’t even able to get me any information under the FOIA. And just to add insult to injury Mrs Kelso accused me of being delivered by a midwife that was known for committing fraud with birth certificates, which was completely false and she would have know this if she would have simply looked at my birth certificate that showed that I was born in a hospital. Do not hire this attorney. A quick update…after Mrs. Kelso read this review she proceeded to email me repeatedly attempting to insult me and accuse me of lying. She is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I have never been treated so poorly or unprofessionally.
