An employer treated me in a way that was unfair and the response was harsh and unkind when I reached out about it. I did not know who to call or what to do. I used Google to look lawyers up. Recently, I was laid off from an employer and needed an attorney to review my severance agreement. Barry, was the perfect person and simplified the process. He listened and asked good questions. Reviewed the contract, paragraph by paragraph, while educating me along the way and providing key talking point for me to use during my negotiations. Barry was up-to-date on the employment law and was able to assist in getting the necessary coverage, by law, which the company was not aware of at the time. I spent most of my career as a paralegal in intellectual property, insurance defense, and family law, working for board certified attorneys. Accordingly, I am very knowledgeable about what someone should be looking for when choosing an attorney. There are many smart attorneys in the Dallas area, and Barry is definitely one of the best employment attorneys that you will find. I say this as someone who has now used his services twice. But the HUGE difference between Barry and other attorneys is that he only takes on cases that he can give 100%. If he takes your case, he will work it. If he tells you that he will do something, he will do it. I really cannot stress how important this is. An attorney who takes on more work than he can manage is not who you need. The stress of trying to get in touch with someone who doesn't return your emails, texts, or phone calls is a nightmare. You will never have to worry about this with Barry Hersh. You will always know what is happening with your case. When you hire Barry, you will get the whole package. Trust me when I say that there are not many attorneys like him. I highly recommend Barry.
