Elliott was extremely helpful. He has deep knowledge of trust and probate law, and I would highly recommend him.

Not a strong advocate in addressing my matter. Difficult to reach, lacked attention to detail and passive when action was needed. Would not hire him again.

I handle many properties for my foundation and had occasion to need a lawyer in Dallas to settle an estate and sell a home there working from Wilmington NC I was expecting complications. Elliot and his assistant were absolutely on it from the start and helped me settle in almost half the time I have in other transactions. Elliot dots the I and crosses the T's like no one else I have ever dealt with, even the big firms we have had on retainer have been very disappointing in how they handled the cases and the very expensive fees to do simple work. I would highly recommend Elliott and his staff for any transactions you may need representation for they are both honest and efficient in my dealings with them. Elliott took the time to fully understand our wishes to structure our will and trust to meet our specific needs. He was very professional, likable, and knowledgeable. Drafts of the documents were sent to us by his assistant, Maureen Belew, for our review and edit, which streamlined the process. Drafts were finalized and we met for the signing of the legal documents. Maureen notarized the documents on the spot during our meeting and made copies so we were able to complete the process and take our finalized estate planning packages home with us. Elliott took the time to answer all of our questions and made the complex process of estate planning easier to understand. My experience with Elliott Burdette was excellent and very professional. I contacted his office for an appointment to discuss creating a Will for myself and a date was set. At our first consultation, he made many good suggestions and was very adept at explaining to me the meaning and purpose of each document. I left feeling very confident that all of my questions had been answered and that the documents I needed were being created perfectly for me. Our next meeting was to finalize and sign the finished documents. I can truly say that the whole experience was quite enjoyable.

Elliott made the process easy for getting our wills, power of attorney, physician directives, etc... He always made me feel like he was listening to our concerns. He was always professional in our dealings and knows his stuff.
