I recently found myself in the middle of a very complicated divorce situation. It was a thing of nightmares. To add insult to injury, the opposing party/counsel resorted to some fairly ugly measures to position me in an unfair light before the court with severely adverse implications relative to my ability to be present in the life of my child. I was determined to fight for my son’s best interests against a formidable legal adversary but recognized the inherent biases and risks with Texas courts which tended to favor mothers for possessive custody even in questionable circumstances. The decision to hire Michael was, in hindsight, one of the best decisions in my life. Michael’s compassionate, confident, and fearless approach to litigation has helped me in not becoming another statistic. Under Michael’s care, I was granted primary possessive custody of my little boy and we have come out brilliantly victorious in multiple hearings thus far. I have also referred a friend to Michael recently and their early outcomes followed this same trend. Under Michael’s care, they were able to regain primary custody of their child from a “bully” of an individual after having lost it under the retainer of another law firm.
