Just like going to a dentist no one really likes to have to hire an attorney. There are those times in one's life that it does become necessary. In my lifetime I've had to deal with a few dealing with family matters, wills, POA's, a divorce and other legal documents and situations that made having attorney not just necessary but also the smart thing to do. I'm from Denton county and I was very fortunate to be able to hire Hayes, Berry, White & Vanzant for my situation's. If there was a way to put more stars I would! I had a divorce go on for 8 or so years because of the prior attorney I had gave me the run around and didn’t do her job correctly but, long story short Kirsten Boyd did it and stayed on it until we got what we needed done!! She broke down everything so it was easily understood!! Worked with me financially and just did a phenomenal job!! Still after that day any advise I need for anything I call her!! Thanks for everything Kirsten!!

Great firm....

Kirsten is a rockstar! She is trustworthy and works so hard for clients. In my case I had been through several lawyers and learned very quickly I had been represented poorly prior to Kirsten’s legal counsel. She gave me the peace of mind I needed in a child custody situation. Thanks to Kirsten I could be a mom in a stressful situation with my ex and let her handle the legal.

I hired Brian and his firm to do a step parent adoption. From start to finish Brian and his paralegal Pamela were awesome. They sent the discovery paperwork once I returned it they had the paperwork done within a day. He warned me that it could be a lengthy process depending on the circumstances. He was able to send me to a social worker and we were able to schedule and complete the home study within a couple of weeks. Then Covid happened and it changed how some of the process would happen. Even with Covid occurring we were able to get it completed within a couple of months. Then they even facilitated the birth certificate/name change. The entire process was completed by the end of June. I highly recommend Brian and his team

The day you have to get a lawyer for a personal issue is never a good day. So when I had to find someone to help me through a pretty rough patch, I was lucky to be pointed toward Kirsten Bode here at HBWV. She walked me through some paperwork and pointed out a couple of things that I originally missed and suggested some options that made my whole process much easier and smoother. While I hope to never be in that position again, I’ve got Kirsten’s number saved in case anything else ever comes up again. Quick to respond, kind, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable, she was a joy to work with. The whole experience with HBWV was much better than some other law firms I’ve worked with in the past.
