It was my first time ever being in trouble on an interferring with public duties charge ..after paying tim powers I was poorly represented . No one ask me my side of the story at all . Took what the judge offered and I was found guilty and now on probation .. I could've saved my money and represented myself if I was just going to be guilty anyways ... waste of money .. look elsewhere...

The law offices of Tim Powers and his great staff are knowlegable, helpful, and resorceful when it comes to the law. They helped me receive a pre-trial diversion to wipe my record clean which I am now in the process of. This attorney's time has passed. My 15 year old daughter was represented by this attorney and he failed to do his job. There was a boy in Plano with a better attorney who was able to convince the judge that it was a mistake. Powers was unprepared and did not care of a 15 year old little girl made a mistake and got stuck with it for the rest of her life. Now I have to hire another attorney to clean up his mess just to make sure my daughter has a fair shake in the future.

Mr. Powers was very knowledgeable about juvenile and adult law, both of which were applicable in my daughter's case. Overall, he was able to save us about $6000 in additional court fees. In the end, her case was no-billed by the grand jury. I definitely recommend Mr. Powers.
