Duane and his team handled my child custody issues very quickly. When I first met with Duane he outlined the options and the how things would proceed after I decided the direction for my case. I was looking for a lawyer for what I knew was going to be a very difficult divorce. Because I had no other personal referrals, I reviewed the Avvo recommendations and decided to meet with Duane for an initial consultation. During the proceedings, Duane was very professional. He never over stated what the possible outcome could be, presented me with the different options and guided me towards to what I believe was the best possible outcome in a terrible situation. At no time I had to question if he acted in my best interest. Besides his own skill and his team, he impressed me with the other people he brought into the process to handle custody arrangements and mediation. I've already recommended Duane to friends and will continue to do so. Even though I hope I will not heve to work with him again, I know where I need to go if the need arises.

I had a nasty divorce going with my ex-wife who was using one of the High Power Dallas Lawyers that was intent on making things difficult and costing both of us most of the money we were fighting over. Duane was able to calm me down and came up with an idea for the settlement that not only saved me and the ex money, but actually made his fees LESS EXPENSIVE!!! You will not hear of that many times with any lawyer. I would recommend him for a simple divorce or a complex one with all of the circumstances that always make things difficult. He just has a way of working things out with all parties that make so much sense the case gets settled and everyone gets what they want.

I have only been through a divorce once in my life and I thought I would hire a "big name" lawfirm in Dallas to handle my case. Well long story short, all the "big name" lawfirm did was rake me over the coals for money then dropped me like a bad habit after they sucked me dry! I was reffered to Duane by another lawyer that doesn't specialize in divore or family law and was told he would treat me right. Well they were right! He made me feel very comfortable and told the the honest truth about things. He saw what my previous lawyer did to me and what my wife's attorney was doing to me. I am so glad he took my case and got my divorce finalized! He was very up front with things and kept me in loop on everything. The only regret I have is I should have used Duane from the begining! It would of had saved me thousands of dollars and a lot less headaches. I can't say enough good things about Duane and his staff. What a "true" lifesaver they were to me!
