Our family first engaged Mrs. Christopher almost two years ago to handle a child custody case. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Growing up in a broken home the last thing I ever wanted was to put that burden on my children. When faced with my spouses decision to file for divorce, I was forced to find an attorney. When my husband passed away suddenly a few months later, I saw Milena's ad in the church bulletin, so decided to contact her for help with handling all the paperwork. Milena and her team were kind and understanding during a difficult time. More importantly, Milena was very knowledgeable about the court process and it all went smoothly. Unfortunately, because I had used LegalZoom, I had some trouble with some insurance policies and all the paperwork involved with the testamentary trust, which was due to the language in the Legal Zoom Will not being as specific as it should have been. I regret not having Milena prepare the will in the first place, as I would have had an easier time setting up the trust; at a time like that, the last thing my children and I needed was anxiety about our financial situation. I highly recommend Milena, as I have found her to be an exceptionally competent, experienced attorney. She represented me in a case in which many other attorneys would have clashed with a difficult opposing counsel and likely escalated the situation, however Milena maintained a calm determined demeanor that allowed her to negotiate a successful outcome for us even though she had to negotiate final resolution over a weekend!! Dr. Christopher drew up our wills. She was very helpful giving suggestions, but always left decisions to us. More importantly, when our daughter was hit by a pickup going 45 miles per hour while jogging and was fired for her disability, Dr. Christopher spent hours talking to her getting information in order to advise our daughter as to her options. Our daughter lives in South Carolina; therefore, Dr. Christopher could not represent her in court so she again spent hours finding a SC lawyer for her.
