Excellent job…. I’m amazed!! Did a great job on my case so far… with hardly any forward notification…

February 2016 I was in search for an Eastland Atty. I live in Dallas and Derrick Elliott was about the only traffic attorney I found in Eastland & because of his past reviews I decided to ask him a few questions before hiring him to represent me. At first he responded immediately to my initial e-mail & I thought how great it was to have an attentive attorney represent me. He made me feel comfortable and as if my case would be something he can take care of. It didn't take long after I paid him to represent me in 3 traffic citations before he fell off the face of the earth. I have e-mailed him countless times, left him voicemail after voicemail... he fails to respond in any way. The last time I e-mailed him was January of this year and still nothing as of today. It's a shame that I trusted him to do his job with my hard earned money when he hasn't even sent a letter of representation according the Eastland county clerk. He hasn't done a thing to earn a penny of my money 13months later and I'd hate for this to happen to some one else as well. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER AS POSSIBLE! You're money will be better spent elsewhere. I'm just glad that I didn't trust him with anything too serious that would have cost me thousands of dollars when I can't even depend on him to work 3 simple traffic citations.

Mr. Elliott is a caring attorney. He represented my family in the fight of our lives and treated us like we were family. He is easy to stay in touch with and returns calls promptly, Very good knowledge of the legal system. Reasonable fees.

Mr. Elliot is prompt in returning correspondence. I have never once called or emailed and had to wait days or weeks for a response. He is truly passionate about his job and his clients rights. As a court appointed attorney those traits seem to be very rare. He never made me feel like I should just say guilty ,take probation, I cant do anything else for you like every other court appointed attorneys I've dealt with. He is very knowledgable and believes in your rights being protected. Not to mention he never made me feel like I was just another criminal. He treated me like I was innocent and proved I was. A very likable guy. If you need a good lawyer, Hes your guy

Derrick was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He kept me up to date and always let me know where I stood. He was also very supportive and caring and will go the extra mile for you. If I need to use an attorney again I will definitely give him a call.

I have dealt with various lawyers in the past over a verity of issues from divorce, probate, custody and yes even criminal with various individuals. I have found Mr. Elliotte to be both professional and efficiant and I might add that his fees appear to be very resonable. If I, rather when I need an attorney in the future, I will most definately see if this man is available for the job.
