Very disappointed in Melissa (family law specialists) and Mr. Vargas. Not only did they inform me of court dates on short notice, they gave me incorrect info. On my last court date Mr. Vargas did not show up. On my next court date he informed the judge he was dropping out of the case without informing me. Very unprofessional. If you're looking for an attorney you can count on at a critical time in your life, do not go with this Law firm.

Seek legal help elsewhere! He will take your money and you will NEVER hear from him. He does not care about his clients or their needs once he gets your money he's done with you. This guy is a joke of an attorney. Beware!

Mr. Daniel Vargas provides first class legal services. I was worried at first since I had some serious charges but Mr. Vargas always assured me everything was going to be okay. He adds a special touch to representing your case that no other attorneys offer. Most importantly he makes it point to effectively communicate the process and solutions to your issue. I had a very bad experience with this dishonest attorney. After seeing his advertised free consultation, I went to him for a personal case. And after some discussion I paid him a deposit of $1,425. However, I changed my mind the following morning about going to court and called his office to request a refund of the retainer minus the time that we spent discussing the case. He did not return my call, even after calling his office multiple times over several weeks, and he never returned the balance of my deposit. He answered this review saying that I was indicted for fraud. In reality, the charges against me have been dismissed by the court . He is showing his dishonesty again with his response. The only thing he did for me is the 2 hours he spent with me and even though he advertised a free consultation for the first hour he still billed me for 2 hours, and he did not draft any document that I know of and did not show that he did any work for me, and refused to return the balance of the retainer, minus the fee of paid consultation. I filed a complaint with the State Bar of Texas, and this matter is currently under investigation, and there will be a hearing by the State Board on this matter. Be aware of this attorney.
