(For context I hired Michelle for a child custody and transferred to her in the middle of court proceedings). Michelle is by far the MOST professional, ethical, gifted, knowledgeable, and well-prepared attorney in the El Paso area! I will try to keep it brief but it's hard when you've found the jack pot in attorneys that you can not only trust, but that are witty, capable, well rounded, and will fight above and beyond for you! She truly is an answer to prayer and gifted in everything she does. Her background and experience are definitely an added bonus for my case. From the get-go and initial consultation (that she doesn't even charge you for, unlike other attorneys) she has been patient, goes above & beyond, always explains both sides of options available, will never make decisions for you but give you the information necessary for you as the client to make informed decisions. Michelle will call after hours, or as soon as possible, if need be, just to touch base with you and follow up on requests, questions, etc., AND won't give you a hard time about it. For someone who has a complicated case (myself) and is an external processor, Michelle has always been so kind, gentle, will talk me through the complicated points so I can have better understanding, encouraged and reassured me when fear would try to set in. Never once have I felt as a bother, nor has she reprimanded me for it as others have. She will fight for you in the best way possible, be your child's advocate. I am so beyond grateful for her and her service to my family! The fact she is a believer on top of that is the extra goodness and grace from God. The only thing trying to hinder her amazingness is the ridiculous judges and their crazy rulings. Even then, she will not be stopped for the calling on her life! Forever grateful and thankful for you Michelle. Keep fighting the good fight!

Still waiting for my refund on the divorce she did nothing for after i fired her, made me miss the court date, never filed what i asked until AFTER i wanted a refund. I believe thats called theft when yoi dont return money that isnt yours nor earned by you.

I waited a whole month for an appointment and I was fine with it but I got a called that same day from her assistant that if I could make it to the appointment earlier if not then she was only going to do the appointment by phone so I had no other option than take the appointment by phone, my appointment was at 3:00pm and I get called by the assistant again at 3:00pm and made me pay $50dlls for a phone consultation not in person. When Erika the lawyer called me she was driving and probably not even paying attention or writing down what I was explaining to her, she even said she couldn’t make it to the appointment because her son had a doctors appointment and I paid a babysitter to be at my appointment! I tried to explain to her my situation and she kept telling me that I was not going to get anything from the divorce that it was better to come to an agreement instead of asking for more plus she kept saying to me do you have more questions but never what was going to be the next step or what information I needed to give her! not even tried to ask or help me understand better, she said to me that she wasn’t going to bring down the stars and the moon for me ! And yes I understand that ! But at least have a little more empathy for your clients ! This are people that are going through a difficult time! Please don’t waste your time and money with her. Erika is not going to defend you or look for the best for you! She already knows (assume) what the judge is going to say with out even trying.
