This lawyer is soft. He wont fight/ takes the easy way out. He ill-advised me on everything almost as if he was on the enemys side. Wish I wouldve gotten someone with more bite.

In August 2024 my wife and I consulted with Attorney Steve Ortega at his office in downtown El Paso. The consultation fee was a very reasonable $50. We were considering initiating a Joint Revocable Living Trust, Durable and Medical Powers of Attorney, and Assignment of Personal Property. Steve Ortega listened carefully to our requests and asked relevant questions. He explained our options in a clear and respectful manner. We learned that a Living Trust was not necessary in our situation and could be replaced with Revocable Transfer on Death Deeds. This saved us approximately $1500. We found Attorney Steve Ortega to be respectful, honest, and truly dedicated to understanding his clients needs and providing the best options at the lowest cost. Ms. Claudia (who is a Notary Public) was very pleasant and helpful on the day of signing paperwork. Thank you for a great experience!!
