have never had to have an attorney before, but was very upset after the long-term disability insurance I paid the max on every year just in case of exactly what happened with my health, denied me. Marc Whitehead’s office has worked tirelessly for 4 years so far with me. There is no way I could have gotten anywhere on my own with the long-term disability company, which is a shame, and I feel for anybody who needs it. Melissa High and Kyle Rich, among others, have been particularly helpful along the way and I can’t speak more highly about them. They’ve helped me through a very challenging time.

I was very lost with my appeal for my long term disability and did not know where to start! Time was not on my side and I had no idea where to start the appeal. I found Marc Whitehead and Associates online and it was the BEST experience EVER! They were amazing from the first phone call when I spoke with Monique Muras the Legal Intake Specialist. She was very knowledgeable and explained the process and I felt a sense of relief that someone understood what my issues were! Monique was amazing and made sure that I felt comfortable with the process. Before I knew it Imari Perkins was on the phone with me and made sure I understood everyone's role of the legal team that was assisting with my case. I was truly grateful that there were so many "experts" assisting with my case. Imari made sure all my questions were answered and again calmed my worries. I had the extreme pleasure of working with Melissa High who was my first point of contact and she was the one responsible for communicating the status of my appeal as well as answering any questions. The entire team that was assigned to my case was OUTSTANDING and because of them my LTD denial was overturned. The made sure that the insurance company understood all of my disabilities and always reached out to make sure the multiple surgeries I had were communicated back to the insurance company! It’s been 84 years… Well that’s how long I felt like it was. I’m sure we all feel this way. I was at my lowest point in my life. Literally wanting to give up on all aspects. Feeling hopeless and thinking about my life and how useless it has been, because of how sick I’ve become. I was trying to claim disability many times over the years, but failed. I couldn’t survive and then would have to go back to work. Work that wasn’t my career. I would have to constantly call out due to being sick, lose pay and barely make rent and at times ask for help from family to get by. I couldn’t do it another day and my family and friends could see it. That’s when I had to make the final choice in applying for disability once again and even though it wasn’t easy and I had to live off of credit cards, family, and the state, I filed and guess what… I got denied. Then I said, I’m going to have to get a lawyer. I researched and found Marc Whitehead and Associates. I’m truly thankful they took on my case. They looked through my medical records and knew that everything that I was saying was not only true but they didn’t understand why I was denied so many times. They knew everything that they were reading I would have a good chance at winning my case. It’s not an easy process and it’s hard, darn right brutal at times. The only thing that got me through this brutal period was the incredible staff which included Anthony Vessel my (Attorney), Chris Stevenson (Paralegal), Kimberly Warren (Department Coordinator), John Rios (Medical Records), Lupe Acevedo (Medical Records), and Dee Cowap (Intake), and Bailey Ingram (Paralegal). My communication with the law firm most of the time was through e-mail, which I favored because it was easier for me. My lawyer briefed me a few times before the actual court hearing and the morning of by phone. This whole process from beginning to end was a long journey, but a journey well worth it, because of my lawyer and the whole entire staff that worked so diligently hard. They never made sure my bills were paid by the insurance company of the boy who hit us going about 50 while at a red light. We were left by the uber in the median and the boy's father wouldn't give us a ride, a Rio Rancho police officer - he said we could have covid - he and his boy were unmasked - we had masks, I was knocked out, had a concussion and vertigo and couldn't walk straight. Our attorney read to take a meeting or call us back after medicare billed us $36k. One employee told me what to do and I fought them for months and still got money taken from my disability check. The attorney billed me $600 for getting Bill's from ER when there were none because they let medicare pay them and 2 years later medicare wanted the money back. I wish I had never called them. They didn't even pay my Bill's after they received my settlement - I had the chiropractor and cranial massage guy calling me for months. This was a nightmare - they blamed everything on me for wanting to settle. It was 2 years!!!! Never once did they tell me it would be possible medicare would pay for everything when I gave statefarm's info and claim number. Do not call them - they just want money. They don't care about you.

Worse attorney ever if you want the least for your accident and wait the longest over 3 years then come here they never call you back they don't give updates they say they will call you back and Nothing I had video of the whole accident and they still couldn't do their job right for 5 people they only gave me 2500 and my car was totaled Worst attorney ever at the end they got paid way more because they dragged it for 3 years DONT GO HERE
