$10 pays for like the serving amount of a child's meal, to much for baby serving

I have recommended Voorhies to several family members. I saw one lawyer before signing with her and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Thanks to Voorhies I have full custody of my daughter and while it cost me close to $10,000 I am extremely happy with the time she took to handle my case and walk me through everything.

I found Mrs. Legan to be intelligent and well-versed in the law, but disorganized, disinterested and scatter-brained as well. I hired her to handle a non-contested divorce--my ex and I had already come to an agreement prior to initiating the legal part of it. All we needed was to have a detailed decree written up. Dealing with Mrs. Legan was for me by far the most difficult part of the divorce process. I met with her at length to work up a draft of the decree. Somehow, Mrs. Legan managed to lose the draft of the decree she wrote from her computer; then after dodging my calls for several weeks, she transferred me to her associate Corey Sainz and we started all over again. Once we were close to being finished, Ms. Sainz left the practice and I had to start all over again with Mrs. Legan. She managed to burn through almost my entire $5K retainer on a matter than should have been handled a lot more quickly. I NEVER felt as though Mrs. Legan was advocating for me or that she was the slightest bit interested in working to get me a positive outcome with my divorce. I often wonder what would of happened if I had hired a different lawyer. I managed to finish the process with her (after she showed up 2 hours late for our court date) but I deeply regretted hiring her as my attorney. Maybe she cares about some of her clients but I never felt as though she gave a damn about me.

The worst attorney in El Paso. I paid her over $45,000 and I'm in worst situation than when I hired her. She took my case to a jury trial based on a lie. She told me the opposing attorney requested the jury trial later found out it was her. She brought her associate attorney Corey Sainz to the jury trial without my consent and tried to charge me for her time. Found out from her paralegal that if she would have collected from me Kristina would have given her a bonus. Totally unacceptable. She was never prepared, lack of communication, could not interpret the orders. There was suppose to be an entry of judgement since October 2016 and til now it has not and she could not even tell me how much child support I had to pay. I went from having more visitation than the standard order without child support to less than what the state of Texas requires to paying child support and paying this incompetent person over $45,000.

Mrs. Voorhies Legan walked me every step of the way with my divorce. This was a very difficult time for my family and I. She was patient and compassionate through it all. She has great experience and was there to make sure I was not taken advantage of. Very professional. Her office staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I recommend Mrs. Voorhies Legan with no reservations. Simply amazing!

If I could give her no stars, I would. From day one she sucked as much money as she could out of me. $11,000 later I am divorced but I never received any of my belongings, I don't get to see my child because of my ex wife. She said her assistant was not keeping her books correctly and that she had to fire her so she is sorry but the overlook put me in the hole 8,000 dollars. Never had someone so un prepaired and unwilling to help me. I wouldn't recommend her to my dog.

She's amazing! She did more than what she was suppose to. Bless her heart.
