When I called number lady said they only do adoptions? Need to change phone number or update services .

Contracted to do a will. Had my initial meeting in November talked with Wende thought everything was finalized. (I have never had to get a will before and have no prior knowledge of the procedure). Her paralegal reaches out via email in January and I missed it. Didnt realize that everything had to be signed. Didn't reach back out to me again until April. Set an appointment for June. Week before June appointment paralegal reaches out with questions she needs answered. I had questions (never done this before). Goes back to Wende still doesn't give me a real answer on one of the questions. Explains that I could come in for June appt talk over questions and then the next booking would be August to sign. I decide to go with the recommendation although I don't feel good about it to just get things over with. Go in for my June appointment. Wende is not even there (family emergency). I wasn't called at all to inform she would not be there. I drove an hour and a half to see her, I had questions and she couldn't even bother telling me she wouldn't be there. I ask the paralegal I'd she can answer my questions and she informd me I'm not a lawyer. I get my documents notarized and get my copy's . They then inform me that Wende wants to schedule a call to go over my questions. AFTER MY DOCUMENTS WERE NOTARIZED. Can't really make any changes now, can I? Charged $500 for a will that I did not feel I got accurate counsel on.

No soft skills. Very rude/abrupt.

Don't use this lady me and my fiance was going to adopt a baby. We paid her up front and all she done was drew up a contract for us and the other party to sign. But when it got time for the baby to arrival the mother change her mind. An we contacted Ms.Dorsey to at least give half money back all we got is Sorry. So I believe that was very not professional its like she needed some free money.

Very thorough and thoughtful staff and owners. They took wonderful care of my elderly mother's needs. I'm very grateful.

I felt so much better after my initial consultation with Mrs. Hawthorne-Attorney at Law. I knew all of my options and had a plan to resolve my problem. It was worth the drive to Forney, TX to meet with her and get a plan of recommendations to move forward confidently.
