My personal experience; I had defense attorneys refusing to take and present any defensive evidence that would provide an alibi. They refused to negotiate any outcome or questions the falsified fabricated evidence provided by police. My family and I spent days requesting them to look over the evidence and get Meta data on pieces of evidence just to have them continually refuse. When we continued to speak up about their refusal to question and verify the information provided to them. They stated to us that it doesn't matter if the police are fabricating evidence they can do whatever they want you just have to bow down to them. Towards the end my whole family said our peace with them explaining how awful they were and how illegal and unethical their activities were. They followed up by claiming that we are being verbally abusive to their staff; Let me mind you we were honest about the situation and their actions but we remained civil verbally and physically. After that I told them I wanted them off of my case they refused to accept that I fired them and wanted to retain a new attorney because "In all my years of working I've never been fired." They refused to let me fire them and attempted to defame me through the court system to the very judge that was deciding my case and claimed I needed to be locked up in the hospital because I was mentally Ill. To quote "Any complaint you make on us will be thrown out by the state bar." I went through the process and proved to the system that I was not mentally ill. They then removed themselves from my case and our family has not received a single penny of refund after such a horrendous circumstance. They are the worst attorneys in Texas. DO NOT TAKE THERE SERVICE.

While they do get wins for their clients, they also lie and work with the opposing counsel to squeeze more money from you. After court my ex and I became very civil and we both caught our attorneys lying to us while we both compared our corespondents from our attorneys. While both still trying to invoice for another 3k and another $600 on top of that. I’m giving a one star review because of lies in text that we saved for further action. They also manage to stretch what was supposed to be done 1 Aug 2023 all the way until March 2024 blaming the other attorney (whom they are friends with) if possible look else where. Lawyers all lie but extortion is something else. They will do the same to you.
