Turner, Julie and the entire Varghese Summersett Family Law Group have been one of the greatest blessings in my life during one of the most difficult and important seasons - going through a divorce with minor children. An extensive researcher by nature and never having navigated through family courts, I spent weeks studying top qualities to look for when hiring an attorney and subsequentially spent time completing consultations with a few area attorneys in an effort to narrow down my list. I likened it to hiring a coach or a leader on my team, in that I was searching for someone highly educated, respected, confident and that could lead the ship with the best interest of my children and their future at the forefront. I narrowed my search down to two attorneys, Turner being one of them. I chose him for two reasons below and wholeheartedly believe it will forever have been the right decision: 1. The confidence he exuded in that his level of knowledge of the process became a guide post for my own confidence during the process - this gave me a sense of peace that was priceless, and ultimately was something I clung to many restless nights playing out in my head multiple scenarios prior to mediation, his demeanor coupled with the ability to strategically navigate the process forward quickly and to protect my interest and the children's interest while also having an edge of confidence that if we did move forward to court, he was prepared to engage at a high level in that environment also - to sum it up, his confidence and strategic assurance, became mine and this is a priceless gift I will forever be thankful for - much like a team embodies the spirit of it's leader, knowing he was on my team allowed me to walk confidently and with peace on the days leading up to mediation - every single day I was thankful I had selected him to retain - I worried about a lot of things, but not one day did I worry that his expertise would not pull me and the children through to the best outcome - this really was invaluable, this became an anchor for me in the storm 2. The second deciding factor was his videos. If you haven't checked out the Varghese Summersett Family Law Group on Youtube, I would encourage you to do so. When I was down to the final two and sitting late one evening trying to decide who to move forward with to retain, I Googled once more the firm and found Turner and Julie's videos and sat and watched them all. I am a strong believer knowledge is power and ultimately knowledge breeds confidence - the education and knowledge of the rules of engagement around family law exhibited were second to none and it was ultimately after watching them all (they are short mostly 1-2 minutes) - I had made up my mind. There has not been one day since I regretted hiring Turner and the team and would recommend him with the highest regards always. I also have a sense of firmness that if items arise in the future that would require additional family law support, myself and my children would always be well positioned. He and Julie's level of communication, follow up and kindness are second to none. I know they both will go so far and continue to impact so many families in the area and continue to be a voice of reason, peace and grounding when going through difficult seasons of life.
