Cons
1
Some attorneys may be more focused on maximizing billable hours than client outcomes
“Not only did I spend thousands of dollars for "expert" representation, but I also got nothing accomplished. It should be criminal to take someone's money and leave them with nothing but empty promises and a whole list of excuses for not getting back to you or following through.”
2
Attorneys may not always be responsive or communicative with clients
“Won't call back”
3
Some attorneys may be unprofessional, rude, or dismissive towards clients
“This man is absolutely unprofessional. He curses like a sailor. Mr. Lynch is extremely arrogant and talks down to you like you're trash. Repeatedly cuts off people when talking and complains that they won't let HIM talk. Then, he hangs up on you.”
4
Attorneys may try to take advantage of vulnerable clients or overcharge for services
“Do not trust him he is a Thief we gave him $1200 to help my son who has MS at that and he didn't care for a child custody that was already done by Kate stone which is now a judge and we thought he might have to go to court but he didn't do anything he just interviewed us and kept all the money when we asked for it he got mad and said we were not getting anything back came outside following us screaming at us and telling my husband that he would never get to see his grandkids again do not trust him and I will keep posting and I also reported him to the law board there is a file against him”
5
Some attorneys may not be as experienced or capable as they claim
“Horrible lawyer and person! Politically corrupt with majistrates. Failed request discovery, Didnt cross examine accussing parties, let the majistrate enforce and illegal affidavit that planly states the party was threatened and cohersed by cps to file a suit and if she didnt they were going to take child from her(stated by the affidavit filed for case, didnt do anything besides show up late and have a secret meeting with judge before hearing that seemed to silence him from my defense, let the judge unconstitutionally take away all visitation and contact including supervised visitation by safe harbor that stated i shouldnt even be having the supervision because he theyve seen no problems with my parenting!”
