In a time when my husband and I were left devastated by a crime that he had committed and while other consulted lawyers described his case as desolate because of his early confession upon arrest, Christy Jack and Letty Martinez provided perspective and comfort. Christy was the first lawyer to express that my husband was not defined by his crime. They were both prepared to utilize his confession as a mark of integrity and we felt confident in their defense and plan from the beginning. While it is obvious by their notable careers that we were not their only clients, they never stopped fighting for us as if we were. They were never tempted to settle for less than probation, despite a nearly 4 year process including a global pandemic, unexpected changes in Judges and their other pressing cases. We never felt like a burden or less than worthy of their hard work. Their commitment to my husband didn't stop after a grand slam win in the courtroom. They continued to fight for him and he was released from jail 45 days early! I was arrested for murder on March, 27, 2014 I received a court appointed attorney whose name I won’t discuss. She was no good for me never made communication or put forth the effort to help me. Then a blessing came I received Joetta Keene and Christie Jack. Two of the best lawyers I’ve ever witnessed. They are amazing watching them work left me in awe. I would not want to be on the wrong end of an argument with these ladies. Christie is so soft spoken, but the woman sure can make people tremble in their seat. I was nervous for the opposition. She grilled them good. As far as communication goes this woman did more for me in 2 months than my previous Lawyer did in 2 years this speaks volumes to her work ethic. She prepared for a murder trial at such a short notice. When we got the not guilty verdict. It was the right verdict but it was a well deserved win for this nice lady. I was wrongfully accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student. I felt that no one was on my side and that I would automatically be presumed guilty. Christy Jack, she was the best lawyer I couldn’t of been blessed with anyone better. I would recommend her to anyone. She was only my court apt. attorney at that. She was so prompt and considerate given my situation, I was out on bond and got in trouble on bond so, I had a no bond and a court date for 2months later that we had prior to me getting in trouble. Having never been through a potential felony situation before, we did not know what to expect.
