I love this team. They listened to me and trusted what I was telling them on the other party and got this settled very quickly in court and got my son back home where he needed to be

My sister found a couple reviews that upset me as they mirrored exactly what I had experienced. I constantly had to repeat myself about the particulars of the case. The first court date was postponed which in itself is fine however I only learned of there being a court date the day before to let me know that it had been rescheduled. To date the majority of my retainer has been spent on emails and phone calls. I was asked to sign a document that I had already agreed and signed against my better judgement. I stated that I alread signed said document and was told that I would need to talk to Mr. Pruitt. I waited roughly 2 weeks, I get a call stating that I needed to sign the document. I then stated that I was waiting on a call from Mr. Pruitt and I will not be signing a document that I didnt agree with. After 2 more weeks I get another irritating and unprofessional call from his office more or less "bottom lining" me to sign the document. I again reminded them then I would not be signing the document until I spoke to Mr. Pruitt. 2 more weeks go by, that is when I send a letter stating my grievance and would no longer require any services with them via email, that email was sent August 18, 2019 it is now September 8, 2019 I have not heard from this office regarding the issue. I would call but I fear that I would be charged for that. This office does reply to reviews however I dont recall seeing replies to the negative ones. Perhaps this will get there attention. The negative reviews that I found almost entire reflect what I had been dealing with from this office. I agreed his is a straight forward guy, but the follow through is definitely lacking. Update 9/13: I was given the option to appear in court for two things one of which was an order on motion for withdrawal of counsel, which is what I wanted however what is disturbing is, I walked with this man in the hallway, I rode the elevator with him. I sat in the waiting area watch him chat with the other attorneys. When it was time I sat in the court and waited. He is the first to be called. While most of what he said was barely intelligible (he just wasnt speaking loudly enough) but I could hear his snide tone and he repeated some words in my email to him. I knew he was speaking of me when I was able to hear him and I heard him repeating lines from my email to the paralegal so I ask the bailiff if I should be up there, he interupts the judge and states that i am there. Mr Pruitt (in my opinion) looked surprised that I was there. The point I am making is the hall way walk, the elevator ride, hanging out outside the court room and in the court room. I had checked in. This man,MY ATTORNEY, did not know who I was and is being snide about the situation and his client. With that said he received and read my email and chose to do nothing other than grant my request to release him as my attorney of record. I feel like the BAR should be contacted regarding his behavior and possibly sharing even in part a confidential email to him from me to a paralegal representing my wife, surely there is some recourse from this.

Bill is great. He is no nonsense and is honest with you. I felt like I got good advice from him during my custody modification. I had a different attorney for my divorce and then initially for my modification. I fired her when it was clear she was charging me an arm and a leg to do absolutely nothing. I hired Bill and felt like he was very fair and forthcoming. His office staff is great and kept me in the loop. I will recommend Bill to anyone who needs a divorce or custody attorney.

Really like this guy at the consultation..was honest and straight forward.. gave me some names which was kind of him..like the person i went to but not sure i shouldnt have retained him.. think he may have been tougher...

William Pruett and his staff are beyond amazing. They have battled in our corner for over 2yrs. For anyone looking to hire an attorney i can tell you from experience that he is the best. William pruett always has your best interest at heart, sometimes it is hard to be patient as a client all we could sometimes do is sit back and do nothing and trust that our attorney was taking care of business and William Pruett was doing just that. I couldn't be more proud of how we were treated and how he had handled our case. I am glad that God had somehow brought us to this Attorney, they really do care about the people they represent. If i ever needed another attorney I wouldn't hesitate to call William Pruett again. Lets pray it never comes to that. I write this review for anyone reading looking to hire someone. I can't say that we always agree on everything and he wasn't just a yes man that did exactly want we wanted he use his years of experience to guide us and do what he knew was best for us. If you are honesty with him and you don't try and hind anything from him he will work magic beyond your belief. I had my doubts BUT he was the best person for the job. OUR FAMILY CAN NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU TOOK ON THIS CASE. As always a BIG shout out to your lovely assistant/wife/work horse. William pruett you will always hold a special part in our hearts for protecting our family.

Please do not waste your money hiring this attorney. They leave you in the dark about everything happening with your case. Never remembers previous conversations regarding your case. We hired him back in March 2018 and nothing was never done. Court dates were rescheduled several times, and they are always on vacation. We constantly had to call his office to get updates which they charge you for. Never received documents through email that they are suppose to send regarding case. Mixes your case information up with other clients and it’s just an all around roller coaster. Keep your money and use a cheaper option!!

Mr. Pruitt was very nice, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable with me. He gave me an hour's worth of free consultation, and unlike many lawyers I've dealt with, really seemed genuinely more interested in finding the right attorney for me versus taking my money. I ended up hiring a colleague he recommended instead of him because he was honest and said that due to prior commitments he would be unable to dedicate the time he felt my situation needed, but he and his office staff still made themselves available to help me during my search and were always happy to promptly call me back and answer any questions I had. Wonderful law office, all around.

Treated like family and always available to answer questions. Made a difficult experience easy.

Hes a great lawyer staff is amazing well informed and friendly. Bill is very honest will tell you the honest truth being good or bad. He will give you no surprises. He sticks to his word and guns. I will defiantly use him again if i need a lawyer

I had a wonderful experience with this law firm. They handled a custody case for me and always made me feel like high priority. Any lawyer can file your case and show up, but Bill and his wife treat you like family and really gave me the facts, comfort, and peace of mind that I paid for. We came out winning and with a change of heart, a better attitude, and spirit of forgiveness. I have been blessed and will always refer and go back to Bill if the need arises.
