Well where to begin? I was referred by a friend to Dwayne Smith about two years ago for my first and lord willing, only divorce, no kids. I was crushed and unsure of what my possible actions and ramifications were at the time. We had a business together so it was definitely a nightmare trying to untangle everything. From Day 1 every time we spoke via text, call or face to face he always reassured me that the outcome would be the same and I would be ok. It became somewhat of an inside joke waiting for those reassurances before speaking again but he was 100000% correct. When I would have my ups and downs he was always calm, cool and collected and it paid off. We always had our ducks in a row and presented settlement offers it seemed every time there was a new full moon but her side kept dragging it out for more billable hours. Dwayne was very mindful of not spending toe to toe because we didn’t need to. I appreciate him being considerate of my finances because he could have justified more spending and I would have gone along so thank you for having integrity Dwayne. I don’t know many lawyers thankfully, but I’m glad he represented me. Thinking back over this process I’m not sure he could have done a better job or gotten a better result if we had to do it over again. To say I’m satisfied is an understatement, yes it was expensive but as the saying goes it’s because they are worth it. If you find yourself going through a divorce and looking for someone to guide you through it, give Dwayne a call.

I would absolutely give Dwayne and his team Zero stars if that was an option. Dwayne completely failed me and only cared about money. Burned thru $15k in 2 1/2 weeks. He forced me into mediation and expected me to take a crumb all without having stbx Discovery. I was expected to make a decision without all the puzzle pieces. He also did not get me temporary orders which was a huge concern.

Although the circumstances were not ideal, it was a pleasure to work with Paige Lyons and her associates at Gardner Smith & Vaughan. I would use their services again and recommend them to anyone I know.

Total waste of time, Called on Friday the 19th to set up an appointment, had to call 3 different times to set up an appointment because they were supposedly on lunch. Never had a call back, I had to call again 2 hrs later, Couldn’t set an appointment with Dwayne because he was booked till May, but did offer to set me with someone else. And I said no problem, They had an opening with a different attorney on Monday at 2:30. I set up the appointment and asked for a confirmation email with the address. Never got it…. Showed up to their old location because they never managed to set me the address. Called got the right address, showed up 10 mins early and said I never had an appointment. They wanted me to reschedule later on that week, and just declined and walked away. Took my time to do a 40 min drive and leave work just to see them, And nothing was set on their side. If thats how they are with clients trying to give them business, Can’t image how unorganized they would be under the middle of a case. Save your time and go elsewhere! Very unprofessional!

I was going through a tough time when someone recommended me about attorney Whitney Vaughan. Attorney Whitney agreed to have my lawsuit without any hesitation. She is knowledgeable, intelligent, confident, and passionate about her client’s cases. She listens to my concerns.
