BE AWARE!!!!!!!! Please.... I hired mark lane during a custody case and was charged over 4,900.00 in 7 days from hire! He never appeared in court for my case at all in the 7 days... He never filed an objection. Subpoenas. Etc.. He didnt even show up for a hearing and i was also never informed of it happening! After it all expired. His firm said he couldnt be there and never even told me it was occuring.. Fact Two very respectful lawyers have said this entire situation from start to stop is un heard of and so wrong in so many ways... ON TOP OF THAT.. What i was told by mark lane himself was my children's mother is dating fred couch. Please look this name up and mark lane said he's not a bad guy!! I was concerned bc i googled this person and there was HUNDREDS of post of this man and non where good..impersonating a police officer. Alleged assaults etc... LIST GOES ON AN ON.. Etc... You gotta read up on this and do your own research. its scary!!! The most important thing to take from this is.. If you are emotional an upset from your case and say something he will use it against you. I made a statement that is being used against me out of context...Fact... Its happening to me and I'm living it right now. I didnt even know this was going on until a friend told me that they heard it from another lawyer that mark lane was gonna to break client confidentially... And that lawyer has known me for years and said im a good father! Fact I fired mark lane and 24hours later he charged me over a 1000 dollars after i fired him. Fact.. After mark lane being fired he sent me a 2 page letter and statement from him after firing him to prove it.. In this letter mark lane only descrided negative things about me and telling me he doesnt have to follow client confidentially anymore bc of my emotions n feelings from all the stress my custody case is bringing up...I was upset with the judicial system in which he told me was understandable when it comes to your kids but then he is doing this to me. (His Statement was prior to hire) Ive NEVER been arrested, charged or accused of ever harming someone in my entire life! Never been charged with anything at all.. Just be very careful.. Ive never met a lawyer until mark lane that wouldn't protect his clients even if they are upset at the representation paid for... He is reporting me to the authorities for making a statement and taking it out of context for my feelings he was not doing his job!!! This lawyer is trying to get me charged with something!! Please please please be aware.. My statements are factual and i want people to see what can happen if you hire mark lane. There is loop holes in everything and mark lane used it against his own client.. I'm prepared for mark lanes repercussions if this post helps others.... Mark lane I pray you will change your approach to people needing legal representation that feel upset at your services! Don't punish people for being upset with you! PEOPLE BE AWARE! I pray no one has to go through what I have by hiring mark lane..

Worst lawyer ever!

This “lawyer” could be called a thief. Told me what he could do and quite simply can’t do it....or won’t do it. I have asked for an invoice and a full and complete update 4 times in the past 6 weeks....I got nothing in return. I heard nothing from him for months and then has the stones to ask for more money. Ok so I give the benefit of the doubt and give more money then more nothing from this shyster. He is a hack with no stones. If he responds to this post then I will post the evidence that I have that he doesn’t do what he says. Mr. Lane you should be embarrassed of yourself but I know your not. Your overhead is your problem not mine. Those girls that work for you deserve better though they won’t get it from you. There area 1000 better attorneys than this one. Do NOT give this hack your money.

I have used Mark Lane law office on more than one occasion. I have experienced five star service. Him and his staff care about you and what’s going on in your life. They helped me through the worst time in my life, and I don’t know where I’d be without them. They Worked diligently to help sort out the unbelievable hurtles in my life. I hired Mark Lane to help me when my husband started spending all of our money buying his mistress expensive shoes, clothes, purses & a new apartment. All while our kids were doing without. Mr. lane had integrity when it comes to taking care of kids. He did npt let my ex get away with it! I couldn’t pay all of my bill, but I tried. His staff said just to do what I could and if I couldn’t they wouldn’t hold it against me. The office staff is very helpful.

We hired Mark to take care of a child custody issue we were having. Mark moved our case to the county WE lived in. He attempted to try mediation for us, but ex didn't cooperate. Mark showed up prepared for every court date we had. He was transparent and accessable throughout our year long battle. In the end our son got what he wanted. We are very great full to Mark for all his hard work and dedication to our family.
