Starting off with I wanted no lawyers for my divorce when my ex husband got a lawyer I knew I needed to as well. I called many firms and spoke with expensive and not expensive attorneys and heard almost the same thing from everyone….except Mark! Mind, Mark had only 4 days to prepare for court and this was no simple divorce…..it was UGLY! The truth to it is I am not the easiest peach to deal with however Mark was great at it! I b*tched, questioned everything he did, moaned and talked back (sometimes just for fun) but he always told me how it was. I was in a pickle! I had a DV charge that he had to protect me from while still being on the stand while not pleading the fifth. I took the stand and felt ripped apart by my ex husbands lawyer and I watched Mark almost just kindly talk to my ex and not seem to make any of the points I wanted - you know, since I had to want to be vengeful, I’m divorcing - be angry for me damnit! Being emotional, unable to go home and very angry Mark always managed to get a smile and even a laugh from me through the process. He never promised me a thing which is probably the right thing to do when you know your client is willing to punch someone in the face however he not only got me home and way more than half of my marital assets while leaving my ex husband living off top ramen on a buddies couch….. I don’t think any other lawyer could have done things so smoothly. Mark has a great demeanor and staff! Kelly (his paralegal) held my hand through the process of our divorce decree. She was so understanding to all the changes as we work through the constant emotional ups and downs of nailing out the disagreements. This firm is just made up of such caring individuals. I would undoubtedly hire Mark again (however I hope I never need to).

I would highly recommend hiring Mr. Mark Childress as your attorney. Mark worked quickly to insure our children stayed with us during our cps case. He, along with his staff stayed in contact with me throughout the case and walked me through everything. Attorney fees are expensive, but what attorney fees aren't? I know I definitely felt more at ease having Mark at my side. Our case is now closed with cps and I would say that doesn't have a price on it. Kelly Turner is a beast and an angel. She has alone made my experience with this Law Firm good and working with her has been very pleasant. She communicates well and listens to what the client needs and does what is asked of her. Can't say much about Mark specifically as we only spoke the day he sold me on his law firm. I would say he is a foot turner and a fee chaser in the end, but he is a good attorney and a good man to my knowledge. If anything request Kelly to be your Paralegal and only interact with him in dire need. Because he will bill you for forwarding emails you already recieved and just to look at your trust fund and bill if you owe money. But mainly Kelly is a Saint and redeems all of those things in the end. Still gave 5 stars so it wasn't all that bad on Mark's end and like I've already said Kelly is a true hero.
