Effective in obtaining disability approval
“Carey Thompson is a great attorney. I am a brittle diabetic and can't work. I have been trying to get disability for years on my own. Mr. Thompson made things move along and was successful in obtaining my disability. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney.”

Successful in winning appeals
“Needed a lawyer for hearing set within a few weeks by Social Security and nobody would take it. Carey took it and won the appeal. Would 100% go to him again and recommend him.”

Lack of effort in pushing evidence and fighting the case
“His appointed attorney didn't push the evidence enough. I would have had my disability approved, They didn't fight for my case as well as they should have.”

Poor communication and client service
“Mr. Thompson and his staff should learn to take the time to listen effectively and compassionately BEFORE the client is upset, and to not sound like they are rushing you off the phone when you call with a question. Mr. Thompson was mostly condescending with a sprinkle of sugar and I don't feel that he came close to earning the $6k that he received from my backpay.”

Failure to provide requested documents
“They told me they were going to work for me. They did not. I asked for a copy of my file and they said they didn't have one. They are required by law to provide this. NEVER did they tell me they wouldn't take my case. They wasted my time and lied to me.”
