Great Firm! Highly recommend.

**UPDATED 10/30/24 - See last photo…NO thanks to Schneider Law Firm!!!*** I hired the Schneider Law Firm in May of 2023 after my husband dropped mine and my kids health insurance during open enrollment. Leaving us unable to pick up new health insurance because there wasn’t a qualifying event. I made it very clear to the Schneider Law Firm that getting health insurance was my top priority. (I have had 10 brain surgeries since April of 2012 to June of 2018. I became permanently disabled in October of 2018.) A few days later they filed my petition for divorce and both parties agreed to exchange the required initial disclosures on July 28, 2023. (Please see photo.) My initial disclosures were made on time, his were not. It took a month before the Schneider Law Firm requested his disclosures again. (Please see photo.) They still weren’t received after that and the Schneider Law Firm said nothing in reference as to what to do next. During the course of the last year and a half I have sent numerous emails to the Schneider Law Firm asking for his disclosures and explaining once again that I was not getting the medical care I needed. Each time they took no steps/actions to get the disclosures and didn’t respond to my emails most of the time. The lead attorney for my case was changed three times and each time I had to pay for the paralegals and new attorney to be brought up to speed. The emails said that I wouldn’t have to pay to speak with the new attorney personally but failed to mention that didn’t include getting everyone up to speed. During this time, both myself and my kids were unable to access the quality health care we had received since 2010. My husband had been required to carry my kids health insurance since our marriage because his birthdate came before mine and their Dad’s and there wasn’t any legal paperwork stating otherwise. My kids Dad died several years ago so he wasn’t able to pick them up on his insurance. After a terminal diagnosis earlier this year, I began inquiring more intensely about this with the Schneider Law Firm who in turn, conveniently dropped me as a client. I’ve spent the last month reaching out to other attorneys and law firms to get this resolved; only to find out that they were aware of the high attorney turnover rate at the Schneider Law Firm. Thankfully, these other attorneys took the time to explain the duty/standard(s) of care and situations like this. They suggested getting confirmation from the Schneider Law Firm that they had/have not received his disclosures. As of October 24, 2024, 15 months after the agreed upon date, the Schneider Law Firm confirmed that they still had NOT received his disclosures. (Please see photo.) After receiving their confirmation, I asked them to please send the information/documentation for the steps/actions they took during the 15 months since, to get them. I specifically asked for the Motion to Compel Discovery that should’ve been filed when my husband’s initial disclosures weren’t made in July of 2023. The Schneider Law Firm responded that the issue I had was with the other attorney and not them. (Please see photo.) I thanked them for sharing that with me and that I would include their concerns, with mine, when handling that matter. However, the Schneider Law Firm and I had a formal relationship; with a signed contract and receipt(s) of payment(s), which is a whole other matter. Take the time to understand the difference between a grievance and negligence. Educate yourself on what the duty/standard of care is for your situation(s). Attorneys are obligated, just like doctors, to provide their clients with a duty/standard(s) of care. Legal malpractice exists just like medical malpractice does!!!! * I have added a few photos of the correspondence with the Schneider Law Firm. Please note the dates of our correspondence, the different attorneys, the days that passed without a reply, as well as the topics we discussed. The Schneider law firm was VERY aware of my medical situation, my financial situation, and that his disclosures had still NOT been received.

Jessica Phillips is top notch!! She fought for me during my divorce every step of the way and was very realistic and straight forward. The communication her and her paralegal Amie had with me throughout the entire process, was beyond astounding. This was the first time I had ever been through the divorce process, along with some other things, and they made sure I was educated on everything throughly before any court date or meeting. I highly recommend Jessica for any family legal matters.

I was referred to the Schneider Law Firm by a friend, so I thought I'd "pay it forward" and share my experience. Nobody likes having to deal with legal issues, but they made it as quick and painless as possible. They asked me what my goal was, which was to avoid going to trial and reach an agreement that everyone would be happy with - and they were able to do just that. I can't say enough nice things about Jessica, Amie, and everyone else in the office. I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone who needs an attorney. They know what they're doing and, most importantly, truly care about their clients.

Jessica was extremely helpful during a stressful time for me, and she was confident and knowledgeable which helped put my mind at ease. The rest of the office staff were great as well, everyone was very caring and friendly.

I love working with Ms. Phillips and Ms. Horton. They are both great attorneys. Always well-prepared for mediation and advocate for their clients in a very professional manner. I know they couldn't do it without their paralegals, who are also great to work with!! I would highly recommend the Schneider Law Firm.
