Mr. Agnew is a fantastic attorney, and I'd definitely recommend him to friends or family. He was able to get me a great deal for my case, and was very personable, both in court and when I met with him. He helped me file all the necessary forms that pertained to my case, making the entire process hassle-free for me. He was quick to respond to emails, and was very professional. During a time that was very worrisome for me, he kept me well-informed, and told me all the possibilities of what "could" happen. He did a great job!!

Bill Agnew was one of the first referrals we received for attorneys in the area. We were at a loss as to what to do and where to turn in such a rough time. Our family lives on a fixed income, and needless to say, legal battles do not exactly fit in with that situation.
We contacted Bill and he was quick to return our call, prices were discussed and we were encouraged to shop around and to see if we could find something that fit our situation better.
After a very discouraging meeting with a very arrogant, self-absorbed, and expensive defense attorney in the Nacogdoches area, we left the office feeling scared and almost hopeless. We were told that the case could be taken on with a 3500.00 retainer and would go up from there, not including court costs.
One day and one call later we were meeting with Bill, paying only a fraction of the retainer, and feeling very encouraged that the case was not the end of the road, but merely a bump in it.
Bill has fulfilled every aspect of what he told us the very first meeting, he worked out a deal with the prosecutor not because he had to, but because he knew how. He has the knowledge and experience from working both sides of these cases to give you an accurate idea of what can be done, what is the best choice for you to make. Ultimately he guides you in the direction he thinks you should go, what your best and easiest outcome will be, but the decision is yours to make.
A decision of Bill Agnew as your attorney is a good one to make, in my opinion; he's an honest and caring human being who is dedicated to his clients and his community. I would highly reccommend him to anyone that needed the services of a defense attorney.

I have met Bill only three times but he has gone to the court for me several times. I needed him around 10 years ago when I was pulled for a DWI. I was broke back then and someone suggested me to take his services. He was extremely personable and excellent listener. He went to the court for me and fought my case - not only using technical knowledge but also his network and intelligence. We were able to reduce the case to Obstruction to a Highway and eventually got the case dismissed. As I was not doing good financially, he also gave me a reasonable discount.
During the last 10 years, I needed documents from the court as I was traveling across the country. He not only remembered me but also sent me the documents after paying for them himself at the courthouse. Even after I pushed him, he did not accept money.
So overall, in summary - a great person to know and awesome lawyer. I highly recommend him

A former employer of mine decided to make threats that could have cost me my professional license. At first I was devastated. After one meeting with Mr. Agnew I was assured that this matter was simply a scare tactic and could be resolved without having to appear in court. At first, I was a bit skeptical at how easy he made it sound. However, Mr. Agnew promptly responded to the accusations with a well versed letter. Upon receiving the letter, the accusers decided to stop further action. In short, Mr. Agnew gave me peace of mind and helped maintain my reputation. Thank you again, Mr. Agnew.

William, also known as Bill Agnew is not in court for you, he is only in it for himself. Very arrogant and self centered. Returns one call over a three month span and will not fight on your behalf, only willing to accept what the district attorney offers. Very reluctant to go against the district attorney! If I knew then what I know now I would have represented myself over accepting him. Most of his work comes from being assigned cases by the judge so that goes to show you how recommended he truly is.
