Pros
1
Knowledgeable and well-known in the local courthouse, with experience as a former prosecutor
“Very knowledgeable and well known around the courthouse as someone who quietly gets things done. As a former prosecutor here in Williamson County, he knows the ins and outs of the 'system'.”
2
Able to get positive results for clients despite difficult circumstances
“Under the circumstances, Robert handled my brother's case as expeditiously as possible. We had a difficult judge, who had already predetermined my brother's fate and acted as if he was being impartial. Robert truly did the best he could given the tools he had to work with in this matter.”
3
Effective in resolving issues that other lawyers could not, such as getting a suspended license reinstated
“Mr. Maier helped me clear my license that had been suspended for years and I thought I would never be able to legally drive again. Other lawyers just helped me with the charges but did not help me actually fix the problem. Mr. Maier did.”
Cons
1
Poor communication and responsiveness, with clients unable to reach the lawyer or get updates on their cases
“Does not respond to any emails/calls. I had a great friend of mine pay for me to get my record erased. Which that person payed over a year ago. He told us the process would take a few months at worst, like I said it's been a year. We call him and email and no response on the expunge status.”
2
Clients feel neglected, with the lawyer appearing to prioritize other clients over them
“Robert is my has been my attorney for about a month now he dont respond to my calls or emails and hell his voicemail is full guess i aint the only one he is dodgeing. I don't understand how these court-appointed attorneys play with peoples livelihoods I know that they don't get paid a lot of money for cases that are appointed but there's more than just the case there's a life at stake sometimes.”
