Mark has helped me out with legal matters for the last 10 years. He's definitely my go to attorney. Currently I'm in the middle of a case that seems to come with prison time. This might be the first time in my 54 yrs that seeing the inside of a prison is a real possibility. Being a husband, father, homeowner, and business owner serving time would tear all that I've accomplished over the years completely apart. I have a lot to be thankful for, and a lot to lose. Margaret represented me and I've never been more happy. My case was expedited and I got everything I asked for...my case was rather tricky case as my divorce involved not only my ex and I living in different states, but also me being in a different country entirely at the time. Margaret handled it flawlessly and made me feel as if I was there in person. She handle everything via email or phone and never missed a beat. Lawyers like that are hard to find....especially ones that truly care about you. I would NEVER go to anyone But her first for guidance.

Attorney Margaret McCroan is one of the most hard working, intelligent Attorneys I've ever met. She truly listened to my every want & concern. I hired her to make changes to my old & messy divorce decree. Ms. McCroan remained professional & sensible during and after the final outcome. I will continue to use her for any further Family Law Matters that may arise in the future.

I would run as far from this attorney as you can. I hired her about a year ago when my ex took me back to court to modify our child custody orders. I felt like I had a case for countering against him, and in my initial consultation with her, she made it sound like I had a good chance and definitely some things I could hold over him to protect myself. In our conversations leading up to court, she continued to indicate I had leverage. She seemed assertive, and I felt very safe having her represent me. On the day of court, it was a complete different story. Before our appearance, I was taken into a side room for consultation. I was told there was no way the judge would rule in my favor on any of my counter claims, contrary to what I 100% believed before that day. It was a losing case. The other side was suggesting a settlement offer and offering very little to me, and I should take it or risk losing my shirt. She was clearly being bullied by the opposing attorney and, in turn, I felt bullied by her to sign something I wasn't comfortable with. I voiced my hesitation, and she brought in someone higher up in the practice, who proceeded to hard sell me on this settlement, complete with profanity and making me feel like I was on trial by my own representatives. I felt very pressured and like I wouldn't be able to leave if I didn't sign. Fast forward 15 months, and I have paid for this mistake over and over (besides the nearly $6000 in attorney fees I paid her). Just today, I found yet another item in this new court order that gives my ex exclusive rights to a decision, while nowhere does it list my right to even be informed. My rights with my daughter have definitely been reduced. It's like I'm not even her parent anymore. I feel like I was not at all adequately protected by Ms. McCroan. I would NEVER use this attorney again, even if her services were free.
