I was very happy with the Powell Law firm. They are trust worthy and caring people. Not having much experience with lawyers, I was uncertain of what to expect. Fortunately, I found a law firm that is people centered and truly working to help other folks. A very note worthy aspect was the presence of God. My lawyer - Matt Towson- has strong morals and is a good person-offering legal, personal and moral advice when appropriate. I thank God for helping me find this firm. I hired Matt Towson to help out with a pretty scary family law issue where my family was faced with doubts, fears, and major confusion. I recently went through a divorce. Originally, my ex husband and I tried to file ourselves since we both agreed to the terms. Unfortunately in my case, before we were finalized, my ex husband became difficult to deal with especially when concerning our children. So, sought the help of Powell Law Offices who was referred to me by my employer. I have nothing but positive things to say about this office and their entire team. My ex husband had become very unreliable to the point that CPS had to be involved. That is it self is stressful not to mention being in the middle of a divorce. Lauren is the woman you want on your case! She's knowledgeable, kind and genuine. But, she is also a bulldog. She will make sure you're represented to the best of her ability and I assure you, opposing counsel is kept on their toes. She's helped put me at ease after hours with a custody issue. There's not many worse feelings than custody disagreements but Lauren made sure I knew she would take care of my needs. She also calmed me down with simple facts. It's easy to get up in arms and believe things might happen that actually won't. Lauren didn't use that to her advantage to get me to sign.
