Just want to start off by saying this is my favorite UPS store, however today's experience was not pleasant. This elderly lady which I think is new, with BLUE hair, as if she's directing traffic, wave me over over... no hello no hi, just scans the item, what happened to hello, how are you? on the other hand everybody else that I've dealt with at this place is knowledgeable helpful and very pleasant

Normally when I do I return I show a shipping label on my phone…someone scans it…and off my item goes. Today I was charged to print the label (both pages, the label and the obligatory second sheet with one word on it that some how they just couldn’t delete) and bag the item in addition to the cost shipping. When I mentioned this seemed odd to me a man behind the counter (not part of this transaction) yelled “well we’re not FEDEX” 😂 clearly sir, you are not.
In response to the disgusting comment left by the owner below: I was prepared based on the information I had available to me at the time. In 2021 I’ve never been to a shipping center that can’t scan a tag off your phone and requires you to email it to the store to print. Second, I’ve never been charged to print a label. Even if that the case it’s a very simple click of a mouse to delete the unnecessary second page so the customer isn’t charged twice. You may have been there for 21 years but let’s be honest 21 years ago there was no competition in that area. I suggest you consider coming up to speed with modern technology and basic customer service before time passes you by. As I recall I wasn’t the only irritated person that day. There was a line of angry people and I was the kindest of them. You were literally assisting another employee who was getting their butt handed to them for screwing up a print order. All I told here was the truth. If you can’t take that and make according changes but instead choose insults that’s on you.

When speaking to the manager Angela, she was rude and very interruptive. At no time did she allow me to speak completely and had no customer service or management skills. When letting her know citing another company's policies is not only not proactive, but also reckless she became irate and belligerent. Companies change policies all the time, claiming you know what another company does ( that you dont work for ) and will do to a customer is unethical. When I asked for the corporate phone number she refused and said she had no time. No ethics, no time,no customer service, no management skills, just a waste.

Two guys were working but super slow. Huge line due to slow workers. They don't let you just drop off your prepaid and prelabeled Amazon return packages without waiting in line behind all the people who are there for things that take a long time. After waiting forever, when it was my turn the guy asks me what is in the package. I said Amazon return. He says he needs to know exactly the contents. I said none of your business. He says he won't take the package without knowing. What ever happened to the concept of Privacy??? They could ask if there is anything hazardous like the post office does, but beyond that it is a HUGE privacy violation UPS!!!

Store manager does not know how to prioritize. We had to wait for over 30 minutes to get two pages notarized while she was working with another customer with multiple pages and spent extensive time checking IDs and stuff. Never come here if you need something notarized. Very poor

I purchased an optics mount for my pistol from Optics Planet, which was sent to me via UPS. This piece has absolutely nothing to do with the mechanical function of a firearm. It turns out I don't need it, so I printed the return label that Optics Planet set up for me. When I got to this location, I was told that I could not ship anything that has touched a gun and that I would have to go through a different shipping service. Just a couple of months ago, I sent holsters from this store without issue. Has UPS completely gone anti-gun or is this a made up policy from an individual employee? Do you have any idea how many firearms companies currently use UPS? This is unacceptable.
EDIT:
The issue has been resolved. I was able to speak with the store supervisor, and even he seemed little irritated that I was given such bogus info. This review went from 1 star to 4 stars.

Horrible Spent an hour here trying to get a usps document notarized and after being rung through the mill questioned interrogated blood test dna sample etc etc I had to walk out absolutely incompetent

If there were negative stars I would give them a -6 ⭐️. I made this shipping label at home but for some reason the UPS site was down or unable to print my label. I called this location to see if they could help me out. Of course nobody answered so I left him a message. I never got a return phone call so I went ahead and drove up there. There were two people working and one customer service person behind the desk so they were not too busy to call me. I carried two large boxes in with the help of my daughter who is seven. The two grown men Who were working behind the counter watched us. I explain the situation and he told me that I could rent his computer by the minute so I could print my labels myself. I would rather drive my package across the entire country than depend on these people for anything.
I worked for FedEx in Valdez Alaska. It snowed 31 feet the last winter I was there. I had addresses such as 6 mile Richardson highway and I never missed a delivery or pick up and UPS cannot print up a label. Worthless company.
