hired this lawyer for an adoption and he didn't file the documents timely or accurately. he insisted on attending the mass adoption day just so he could charge extra for a court appearance and threatened to drop off the case due to not being able to set his own adoption date. he didn't get me any of the necessary post adoption paperwork and we had to get another lawyer to get that. He agreed to paid by the department and then refused to fill out the paperwork to get paid costing us an additional 1500. He made us pay a filing fee when the filing ffee is free for DPFS adoptions. His bias made my adoption a true nightmare. He is now threatening to sue me for the 1500 that he will not fill out the paperwork to get.
