Lack of upfront pricing information
“Before setting the appointment I inquired about the retainer fee, as I wanted to make sure it was within my budget before proceeding. The representative placed me on hold, conferred with one of the lawyers, and when she returned she said it won't be $3000. I asked if I could have a ballpark estimate, and was told no, that I had to come in for the appointment and pay the consultation fee first.”
