This was my first divorce and after this journey the only divorce I’ll ever go through. At the beginning I had gone to very many free consultations with other attorneys That ended up with me crying in the car afterward in fear and worry and just extreme frustration of no questions answered and the idea of how it was gonna ruin me financially. After giving up on my search I later was referred to this law firm by someone I sold my wedding ring to. I’ll Call this moment in time fate as I look back on it now. I gave the free consultation with Brian one last try before giving up and crawling under a rock. He called me back after I left a message very quickly and to my surprise after an hour conversation on the phone I had a clear understanding of what was going to or could happen. He answered all my questions without me asking. I felt so confident that I was in the right hands and that he would do everything he could in my best interest with compassion and care. After I retained this firm I was introduced to Raya, from the beginning she was patient and concerned just as much as Brian and this made me immediately comfortable with sharing details of my case with her. So at this point I felt like this firm all around and everyone involved cared a ton about their clients. going through what I was going through I truly needed this. My divorce lasted about a year, because my ex husband made it difficult of course.....but Raya pushed through it with me. And when I say “with me”,I mean she stayed invested. She never brushed off any of my calls or emails. She was always there and took the time out to reassure me that things were being done and explained anything I didn’t understand. She stayed on it and was very proactive. To walk in a courtroom or be in the middle of a divorce is gut wrenching and stressful, painful and can break you. But with Raya as my attorney I had the help of staying strong through it and felt protected. To have the confidence through this process that she was able to provide to me was a blessing. As painful as divorce can be, the most stressful part is family separation when there is animosity between ex-spouses. Ms. Thrash has represented two of my siblings in court, and had one of them win custody of his kids and the other swiftly gain access to his kids when the spouse was keeping them away. Ms. Thrash is very knowledgeable, fair, professional and caring. I recommend her to anyone needing a good divorce attorney.
