I had an unfortunate situation arise when a person accused me of a crime I did not commit which would have been a Class B Misdemeanor. Michael Mercer was proactive and used his contacts in the District Attorney's office to discuss my case and after after with them and telling my side of the story he asked them to drop their investigation and they did! Michael gave the District Attorney enough information to have them drop the case but he said if he was unable to convince them to stop their investigation and they went ahead with charges that he didn't want them knowing our defense. Michael Mercer used his countless contacts in the DA's office, his experience as a criminal defense attorney and his tact to prevent false charges from ever being filed against me in the first place! Great attorney and I am so grateful I found him.

Being a first time offender for a misdemeanor charge was very worrying. I have never been in trouble before and was very nervous and anxious of the whole situation. Michael managed to get my felony THC case dismissed during the aftermath of hurricane Harvey. The DA didn't want to dismiss, but Michael was prepared to fight the charges with me and had compiled enough evidence to scare the prosecution off. Michael was extremely easy to work with. He is attentive and focused. Our calls/conversations were always concise and helped keep me calm through a terrifying ordeal. To note, Michael seems to be a busy man, because he is an outstanding lawyer. He had to deal with multiple cases the day I was in court. I was charged with a misdemeanor A assault on a family member. Attorney Mercer made sure that everything went smoothly and worked out on my behalf. The case was dismissed. If you find yourself in trouble that you believe can't be turned around in your favor, THINK AGAIN! He is very professional and I can now , finish school, get a job again, and move forward with my life.

Michael Mercer far exceeded all my expectations from an attorney. My particular case I heard the Chief DA explain to the DA that they were going to ride my case to the end. I explained this to Mr. Mercer and fully expected to go to trial. I had the pleasure of sitting in the front row and see him first hand go to battle with the DA. He had all the facts, even remembering parts of my case that I forgot. The case was dismissed and we did not have to go to trial. He does his homework and will fight tooth and nail.
