I was referred to a friend who happened to be in the same cell block as me. I called him from jail collect on Xmas night around dinner time and HE ACTUALLY ACCEPTED. I hired him although my court date wasn't until the 1st week in Feb. He went to my court room and talked to the district attorney of my court and secured a deal. And this was the first week of Jan.. He came to see me and asked if I'd accept the deal. I was looking at 5yrs TDC. Now the deal he got was for time served if I signed on my court date in Feb. I SAID HELL YEAH. Now when my court date arrived my cell block was on quarantine for covid and I wasn't allowed to attend. But that didn't stop Paul. I called him and told him and he said don't worry. He got me a PR Bo d so that I was released the day I should have been with a court date to o my come and sign my papers But bad luck still tried to beat us, pretrial never came that night to release me. That still didn't stop Paul even though he was in Brazoria County and I was in Harris. All of a sudden I was called out for court. When I got to court pretrial was there with my bond papers to sign. But when I signed them the bailiff said I was getting a dbl. Whammy today. There was a phone and a stack of papers on a desk. I picked up the phone and Paul who was at the Brazoria courthouse walked me through each one as I signed them. Then I was escorted into the courtroom and it was only me, the bailiff, and the court coordinator. All of a sudden Paul (in brazoria) appeared on a screen via Zoom as did the Judge (from home). And there I accepted my plea agreement. Now I was wondering why I still signed my pr bond papers if I signed for my plea. Well it normally takes them until the middle of the night to release you after court but by the time I got back to housing , releasing had already been calling for me. Needless to say I was released within 2 hours of returning from court. Paul gets things done. And he keeps his promises. IF YOURE EVER IN A BIND CALL PAUL MORGAN. HE WONT LET YOU DOWN.

When I first got arrested, I was terrified. Calling around every lawyer and reading every review on lawyers I could find. Mr. Paul Morgan was the only lawyer I spoke to that after the conversation I felt better about my situation. I was facing a first degree felony and a state jail felony, making every night tough to go to sleep. Once I hired Mr. Morgan he told me something I’ll never forget and am extremely grateful for “We are better than our worst days”. He provided excellent legal services and was easy to talk to and stayed in communication with me regarding any updates on my cases. The end result was BOTH CASES DISMISSED! Honestly I tried to seek help but, none was given. Have an active case with VA which is to expire soon. Sent all my paper work in as requested and nobody looked at it. Was given a response by email after a few attempts that had nothing to do with my case. Truly disappointed.

Bob represented me and got me from 0% disability in 2013 to 90% disability in 2020. I also got the chance to work for Mr. Goss from late 2013 to mid 2016. I have never met someone that cares as much as he does. The VA often skips paying him, and even after he helps veterans fight and win massive cases he is attacked by the very people he tried to help. The VA is an awful organization and sadly as an attorney trying to help veterans and fight the VA he is often blamed for VA incompetency. One of the nicest, hardest working people I know.
