In August 2023, my mother recommended this law firm. Although she referred me to her lawyer, Yantel assigned me Gary Saunders, who helped me find treatment for my injuries. In November, after a month of unreturned calls and emails, Yantel informed me that Gary was no longer with the firm, but no one had notified his clients. I was then assigned William Morrison, who stopped responding after our first call. When I completed my treatment, my therapist assured me he would submit all the necessary documents to my lawyer. Despite this, I couldn't reach William, so I contacted Yantel again. She informed me that William was still with the firm and advised me to speak to his paralegal, Trish Pieratt. Trish then told me they were missing some medical bills from my physical therapist, who insisted he had already submitted them. After resubmitting the documents, Trish confirmed in late November 2023 that she had everything needed and scheduled my deposition for February. When I followed up in early February for a specific date, I received no response. Frustrated, I contacted another representative, expressing my dissatisfaction with the service. She promised to sort things out, and Trish called back, claiming she was still waiting on records from my physical therapist, contradicting what she previously said. After confronting her, she admitted she had the records since December but now claimed the missing documents were from my initial hospital visit, which I had already provided. Frustrated with the runaround, I requested access to my insurance submissions. Trish refused but gave me her cell number for updates. Despite this, in March 2024, she said they were still waiting on the first hospital document. At this point, I was overwhelmed and decided to give up on dealing with the case, as the car accident had already been a traumatic experience, and the law firm's inconsistencies added significant stress. In April, I contacted Trish again to inform her of another case that was having issues due to this case being open. This prompted Trish to finally schedule my deposition. She set it for May 14, 2024, with a run-through with my lawyer William on May 13, 2024, and provided me with times for both. On May 13, I waited for the Zoom link for the 3 PM run-through, but by 2:45 PM, I hadn't received anything. When I emailed William, I received an auto-reply indicating he had been out of the office since May 9 and wouldn't return until May 28. I then replied to everyone on the email chain asking for the link and clarification on who would be representing me. No one responded, so I called and informed the receptionist that I hadn’t received the Zoom link for the run-through. I also texted Trish but received no reply. When Trish finally called back at 3:15 PM, she stated that my run-through was scheduled for 3 PM, despite it being past that time. She then informed me that William was out of the office and someone else would conduct the run-through and represent me at the deposition. The first person assigned didn't show up, so another person took over. Both the walk-through and the deposition on May 14, 2024, were handled well by knowledgeable and pleasant representatives. They informed me that William would submit all documentation and provide updates after the deposition. It is now June 3, 2024, and I have yet to hear from anyone. My mother, who referred me to this firm, also faced communication issues and wouldn't have recommended them if she knew it would be this bad. I lost my original lawyer and have no idea about the next stems or my current representation. I cannot recommend this law firm, as this experience has been unacceptable. Update- two months later, I’m still receiving the same experience.
