I was referred to Nicole Stagg by a family member who utilized her services for a previous divorce. Things went smoothly with her and we believed we could expect the same. However,  what we failed to realize the other party in her divorce wanted to ensure their kids didn't need or want for anything so he gave her everything.  That was not the case in my situation and she did not try to even the playing field. I fled an abusive marriage with my two children and the clothes I was able to sneak out the home over the course of a month.  That's all I managed to get out.  So during the divorce process I made it clear all I truly wanted was my Kitchenaid mixer,  things for my small business that I purchased and him to be partly responsiblefor the cost of medical bills accrued for an ectopic pregnancy. She addressed NONE of this during mediation. In fact,  she worked on another case during the entire hearing. She did not fight for me at all. I told her I had proof of physical abuse and infidelity, never once did she address this.  I had to accept him not being responsible for back child support in exchange for my retirement. Hence,  $20k in exchange for $1,500. She didn't mention assets like the paid off vehicle. He simply walked away with it all.  He was only required to pay minimum child support and she even accepted him not being responsible for the full $300 the first month. Which he has still yet to pay.  I didn't go in asking to take everything we had.  I didn't even ask for half.  I only asked for those THREE things and she never addressed one.  I heard it's best to get a lawyer if the other party has representation so that's what I did.  I wish I would've did differently. At least I would not have drained my savings and could've used that money to get back on my feet.  I originally contacted a paralegal that would've did it for $600. I wholeheartedly feel would've even been better than the service she provided or should I say lack of service. It was rather embarrassing when the other party tells you you should fire your lawyer. He contacts her himself because she wasn't following through on the case in a timely fashion.

Professional and always on time to court. Handled two separate cased for me both dismissed within a year. Possession of a fire arm and interfering with investigation. Mr. Imam is extremely well spoken, courteous, kept me updated in a timely fashion, and was very business-like. I admire his level of patience, and he did a spot on job with what I was dealing with, and definitely provided the end result he said we would obtain. Funny that we were in the elevator together the first day I was going to deal with what was going on, and we got to talking, and I hired him on the spot.
