I was interested in producing a demand letter to help with negotiation, which I shared when contacting the law office. When I was asked for the $150 consult fee, I wasn't certain yet that this was the firm for me because they wouldn't communicate who I would be meeting with or a bio. I rechecked online and the online scheduling fee was 250 or 450 for specific services so I inquired directly about the demand letter fee. I was again directed to the consult and if I booked through the phone I could get the 150 price. I went ahead with the consult only to be told that they dont do a la carte services and would only do the work on my case for a 10k retainer plus 30% contingency. Had the scheduler had the professionalism to understand what they do and dont lffer or at least checked then it would have saved me time and money. The person I met with was helpful but not useful for my situation.

Was directed by google for unemployment insurance appeal attorney was to be pro Bono free to the low income who qualify. Called to get an appointment was told it was 250 just to talk to the attorney and 500 to attend the telephone appeal version of the case . Was very upset with the information I received being in need of attorney for my case and not being financially able to pay for there services .. No Pro Bono attorneys that's for certain..

I was calling to schedule a consultation. I was told that the fee for a consult is $150. Not a problem. However, I wanted to know before I handed over my money if the firm had experience with Autism Discrimination. The receptionist was rude and kept telling me that was a question for the attorney and she refused to answer. I don't want a consultation with someone who doesn't understand my issues or doesn't have experience with it. It was a simple yes or no question.

At this point, I have only had the initial consultation, but Shaleigha Shepard was not only knowledgeable, but helpful. She listened to what what happening at work, asked questions and pressed for details, then outlined what she thought I should do and what kind of timeline and end result could be expected. What really made a difference, is she suggested one more letter to HR asking for specifics and clarifications and to reiterate the issues before moving forward. I appreciate that she and the firm didn’t just want to immediately get me to sign retention papers, but encouraged me to talk to HR one more time. If needed I will decently be using this team.
