Gary Trichter, a long time friend, and I first met at Sugar Land airport during our first flight on 6/23/92. As his flight instructor, I had the pleasure of training and recommending Gary for his single and multi-engine Private Pilot certificates; both of which he accomplished in the same year! Gary has since continued his strive for aviation excellence earning an Airline Transport Pilot certificate as well as his Certified Flight Instructor certificate while maintaining a well respected legal career. I believe this background information will help provide good understanding of the professionalism that Gary demonstrates with everything he is involved in. Twenty five years later, I now manage a corporate flight department consisting of three jets, one turbo-prop, and employ eight pilots. In June 2018, I received a disappointing phone call early one morning. One of my pilots had been pulled over and charged with a DWI. The following Monday, my pilot and I reached out to Gary and explained the situation. Gary immediately put his expertise and amazing team to task. Within a month, Gary and his team had negotiated a pretrial diversion and already set up the time to have all charges dismissed! Gary and his team handled the entire process with genuine concern as if he was a member of their family. I would highly recommend Trichter and LeGrand to anyone, especially to those in the aviation field, as the FAA consequences can be far more reaching.

Aaron White is professional and expedite in explaining the legal process and presenting options and solutions. Has a pleasant calm demeanor and helpful in mitigating problems as they arise. His assistant Jess is timely in keeping the information process flowing and answering questions as needed. Hiring Gary Trichter to represent me was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I was arrested for DWI in Ft Worth after I allegedly failed field tests and a warrant was taken for my blood. I spoke with Gary and told him that I wanted to see the evidence in my case before deciding whether it was worth it to pay him $21k nonrefundable, because if it was a likely plea deal, that expense made no sense. Gary assured me that we'd be going to trial no matter what, and then pressured me to decide whether I'd hire him. I gave in and decided to do so based on his online reputation. After the evidence comes in, Gary now advises me that we couldn't possibly win at trial. He is somewhat rude to me, and scolds me for my own rude behavior towards the arresting officer. That really didn't sit well with me. He advises that we should try a motion to suppress, and if that fails, plead guilty. Gary performed reasonably well at the hearing, but we lost, and I pled guilty. I paid Gary $21k to only attended the motion to suppress hearing. He was not involved in the plea negotiations; instead he hired a local attorney to represent me. I didn't get much advice at all about what to negotiate for, and feel I did not get the best possible deal. After I won my first appeal, which I handled myself (and which was later reversed), the trial court set a hearing. Gary informed me that he wouldn't be appearing for this, based on our contract specifying that his representation was limited to the dwi case in the trial court. I pointed out that this was still the same dwi case in the trial court, and asked for an explanation as to why this hearing was not part of his representation. I received no response. During my appeal, it was discovered that there was an error in the court's paperwork that indicated I had no right to appeal. I contacted Gary about this, and he refused to take any responsibility for this or help me in any way to get it resolved. I generally found Gary difficult to communicate with. I would caution anyone considering his services to reconsider.

Tricter and LeGrang are real advocates for you if you listen and learn from them and understand what they are explaining to you they can help best serve your needs for your individual needs the law is not on your side and is not blind dont fo it alone. The bonus to this organization is their Paralegal who will keep you informed and up to date thank you Jessica your the greatest.
