Best Law Firm in Houston!! 4 Former prosecuters. They know the Law but mostly know the procedures really expirienced highly recommendable!!

They will take your money and do the bare minimum to help you out. I received a speeding ticket in Texas I thought was questionable, but I live in another state. I contacted Owsley and paid them $145 for representation. They estimated that I might have to pay an additional $200 in court costs, which I was prepared for. After not hearing from them for a month after my court date, I finally called them. They said they had no news for me and would contact me. Turns out that during this period Owsley had represented me in court and pleaded no contest, getting me a deferred disposition. They basically did no work. After doing this, they made no attempt to call or email me. The only contact I received was a letter from the court asking me to pay $300! Due to a complicated mailing situation, this letter never even got to me. I only found out what was going on when Owsley called me three months later when the court contacted them and told them I had not paid. A warrant would be put out and the ticket would go on my record. !?!?!? Owsley never even contacted me to tell me to pay. I resolved it by calling the court up and figuring out what was going on and paying the court $300. When I called Owsley, I was helped by a wet-behind-the-ears intern who was friendly but had no idea what was going on and was clearly a little lost. They never attempted to defend or represent me. Sooo frustrating.

Some months ago, I was in a terrible car accident where my car rolled over twice, I was hurt horribly, had a terrible concussion and found myself charged with multiple crimes...when I was totally the victim here. Steve Shellist & the law firm of Capitaine, Shellist, Peebles & McAlister, LLP were recommended by a judge to help me with these Criminal Charges from the Houston Police which were totally unfounded and pure fiction. I should have been sent to a hospital instead I was beat up by the Houston Police Officer and physically hit & assaulted and totally mistreated by the jailer Houston Police Officers, but it was 10 PM on Labor Day Weekend and in Houston the cops can just arrest anyone they want, for any reason and claim that they suspect something...several people in the jail with me had been charged with DWI...and one lady was bringing a pizza back home to her kids...she was in visual distance of her home and someone hit her truck which ran into a tree and phone pole so the cops decided she was drunk on something, but they gave her no test, no walking test, not blood or breath test which she volunteered to take...they just threw her in jail because she was in a terrible accident like me. I was so mistreated that I could not believe I was in the USA anymore. Even though my Mom tried to get me out right away no judges are available, no one can help you, and your life is completely over...college degree...trash...can you ever get a real job again...NO! After spending the night in jail for no good reason, where I could have died due to a serious concussion at 10 AM I was put on the video machine to talk to a Houston Judge for arraignment - he after looking at the charges and listening to my explanation of what happened said he could not understand at all why I was ever in jail...ME NEITHER! He accepted the bail bond my Mom already paid at 2 AM in the morning, and I was released at 2 PM...it was a very long process for no good reason. When all hope was lost, I found and called the Top Criminal Law Firm in Houston & I talked to Steve Shellist immediately...he told me exactly what to do...and had me go to a hospital immediately which may have saved my life. Then, he and this top legal team SAVED MY LIFE AGAIN BY GETTING EVERY CHARGE DISMISSED! Now they are getting all the stuff expunged. Honestly, I thought this was going to cost a lot more than it did, but they are so good I would have paid 5 times the price to have my life back. Now I can go anywhere and get a job, I don't have to live with a black mark on my record forever, and I am protected by top lawyers that are not going to settle for trumped up charges...they are going to get it dismissed and have it all go away so you can get back to your life. I am so very thankful & grateful to Capitaine, Shellist, Peebles & McAlister, LLP which is why I have left them this 5 star review. I will update you all later on the expungement.
