Paul is an expert when it comes to his strategic planning techniques. He was able to take my very unfortunate situation and help me to find a light at the end of the tunnel. For my certain situation the arresting officer made no errors in the arrest, I was going to have to accept fault for my actions. Once we realized this, Paul put me on the right strategic track to minimizing my punishment to the best possible outcome. I began sending him weekly updates on my good doings and we kept up for over a year leading into my case. He had many imperative requests to which I have provided to him over the year, ultimately making a huge difference in my fate of the case. Paul is a great lawyer, very smart and easy to work with. If I ever were to run into any problems again Paul would be my first call.

I remember it as if it was yesterday that gloomy evening that changed my life forever. I had been at a restaurant/bar, where I had eaten and had a few drinks. A few hours later, I was in a jail cell charged with a DWI, where I had plenty of time to contemplate the shambles of my previously happy and stable life. By a stroke of luck or perhaps divine intervention, my family arranged for me to call Paul upon my release from jail. He had been highly recommended by a family friend, and time would soon reveal why. From the very start, Paul was nothing but professional. He never judged or criticized. He began by collecting every possible piece of data; I was quite impressed by this process, as it showed just how sharp and thorough he is. We then discussed my goals and possible outcomes of the case. While he never once made any promises, his commitment to me kept me hopeful and cautiously optimistic. Over the next several months, he strategically navigated through the court process, beginning with the assistant DAs. When it became clear that they would not compromise, we were faced with 1) accepting a less-than-ideal plea bargain, 2) proceeding to trial, or 3) speaking directly with the DA in order to determine whether she would reconsider my case. Paul spoke directly to the DA on at least 3 different occasions. He spoke, not as an attorney looking to find his client a break, but as his client's friend and advocate. In the end, his perseverance and total commitment to his client resulted in an open-and-shut DWI conviction that was dismissed in favor of a non-alcohol-related moving violation. I pled guilty to a speeding ticket and reckless driving and avoided the lifelong stigma of a DWI conviction. Paul is an absolutely superb attorney and perhaps an even better human being. I unequivocally recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel.
