My journey is now complete! And I am excited and thankful. I had hired Powers Law Group, P.C. several years ago for my permanent residency application process - which was successful! Now I have completed my Naturalization application process. It was successful as well and I just received my letter for my Oath Ceremony. I chose to be an American and today, I was granted my Oath Ceremony date to be an American! I met Attorney Ruby Powers and her team for my N-400 naturalization case. My case was not straight forward and required legal research and excellent legal research and writing to clarify the law to USCIS officers. All through the process Attorney Ruby and team were patient, supportive, and realistic about what to expect. They supported through COVID restrictions and followed up as needed with excellent communications. Attorney Ruby also attended the interview to ensure that I am well represented and that I do not miss any legal points in the interview. Her team prepared me well for the civic and language test. I came to the US with big dreams but things dramatically changed back home. I was literally in the middle of nowhere and the stress level was insanely high. A friend suggest i make an appointment with Ruby Powers. I followed his advice but a looming pandemic was changing everything and there was an uncertainty adding to my pessimism. Despite a lockdown, Powers Law Group was able to submit my application. Not only did the submit my application but also got my expedite request approved and my case came to a logical conclusion in a span of a few months despite the lockdown in wake of the pandemic. I got my approval this year, the best new year gift i have ever received and i will always remain thankful to Ruby and her team. I used to cross check everything on the free legal advice forums which were only adding to my woes. But Ruby's advice was always different and every time she would win which was the best part of my experience with them. I used PLG to file petitions and adjustment of status for both of my parents. We're quite a ways from having resolutions to those cases, but I am extremely satisfied with the service PLG has provided so far. I feel confident that they have prepared our cases with care. Be responsive and provide correct information as quickly as you can. Don't let emails sit for weeks! Advocate for yourself. Always be respectful, but don't be afraid to ask questions.
