Andrew and Dan assisted my wife and me in our mediation and divorce, providing a practical analysis and common-sense settlement and custody agreement. I selected Daragh Carter to represent me for my personal injury case due to a vehicle accident. He was the 7th attorney I interviewed out of 11 when researching who to hire. There are pages and pages of attorneys in Houston, all will accept your case with nothing down and all will take 33 1/3 of your settlement, too; I wanted to choose wisely. Many I spoke with and interviewed in person seemed more concerned for the opposing insurance company than myself (the potential client). Daragh spoke with me directly. No paperwork to complete first or administrative assistant to speak with and answer a series of questions (quite frankly I was tired of repeating my accident saga over and over again). I was most impressed by his patience in answering all of my questions, anticipating my questions before I knew to ask them, his knowledge on case law, and (most importantly to me) he responded to all of my emails/texts very quickly. He is very personable, provides common sense legal advice, and (hard to find these days) friendly! The office staff are extremely friendly and very nice. I always found them to be kind and courteous. However, the office staff was slow to respond to emails and did not address all questions. If you follow up with a telephone call you have better success. Being partially deaf, I prefer email/text. My case was not typical and Daragh Carter’s powers of persuasion during negotiations are what I would describe as shock and awe! When I thought all was lost, I was presented with a dollar figure leaving me speechless! So, definitely perform your own research, but I highly recommend you place Daragh Carter at the top of your list when seeking an attorney. I found in Daragh Carter an attorney who truly fought for ME, provided legal advice centered around ME, honesty cared about ME, and had ME in mind during negotiations.

I can tell you without hesitation that Smith and Hassler is the best law firm to work with in the city of Houston. Al Hassler is one of the most genuine, knowledgeable, and humble people you will ever meet. He's also a fantastic trial lawyer should your case come to that. Were anyone in my family to need a PI attorney, I would send them to S&H immediately.

It was a medium paced process, but I have got all the money I was promised. I wouldn’t want y’all to go nobody else but them! Such a amazing staff & very nice people.

How do I start! I prayed long and hard that God give me a great lawyer and he did! Smith and Hassler law firm has been more then amazing!
