I recommend this firm to all my associates and friends! I was very satisfied with Atty. Daragh Carter at Smith & Hassler, Houston, TX. He was compassionate and very understanding of the back injury I suffered after being rear ended at a red light in Austin, TX. The driver was minimally insured so he was diligent at making sure I was compensated from both his and my insurances. It was a long distance relationship that went very smooth because his office staff was very friendly and helpful. God Bless Atty Daragh Carter

I was struggling to deal with a worst insurance adjuster for an auto accident. She was just impossible. Daragh Carter is extremely competent professional and is the best lawyer I have ever worked with. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend him.

There are some decent attorneys who work at this law firm. Although this law firm would not be my first choice, the availability of Spanish speaking attorneys may be of benefit to some. The main reason I choose to give 3 stars is because most of the attorneys here are female and not married. While this could be a benefit because they are familiar with the divorce process, it may be a negative for men who are seeking legal representation. In my opinion, I personally wouldn't hire an attorney who didn't win their own divorce case.

My daughter was in a rollover accident last fall and S&H helped me get a fair and equitable claim as compensation for her injuries. I would recommend Mr. Daragh Carter to anyone seeking assistance with sort of thing. Mr. Carter was professional, friendly and responsive. Five stars for S&H!

Excellent service from Daragh Carter!!. I was hit by a car when I was a pedestrian crossing a red light last October. I met with Daragh next business day and left the office feeling that I would be taken great care of. I relocated to Houston from Canada for work and I was very traumatized from the accident as this was the first time I was hurt enough to be hospitalized. And I was living alone in Houston so any help during this difficult time were greatly appreciated. And Daragh was one of the few great people that helped me through the traumatic time by working promptly with the insurance companies to get the settlements I deserved. The service I received from Daragh was excellent and I highly recommend Daragh to anyone looking for legal service.

I was in a car accident a year and half ago. The other person's insurance company did not want to pay for my damages OR my medical bills, which was around 16k. I contacted Smith and Hassler because I wanted my medical bills at least paid. I had Daragh Carter, and let me tell you how awesome he is. He fought very hard for me and we eventually won my case.
