It is not often that you work with a Attorney by chance and find one that shows Empathy and Compassion for what you are going through. I had so many fears and concerns standing up to a company that did me wrong. Mr. James Davis prepared and encouraged me from start to finish. On Trial day I was so confident thanks to his coaching and support that I was able to stand up.

My 1st impression of James was one who is caring, knowledgeable, relate-able and no nonsense. After hiring James, he was transparent and was truly my advocate. I appreciate is directness, empathy, and pit bull mentality! I hope I am never in a another discriminatory situation on the job but if I am James will be my go to!

Mr. Davis was amazing. Top notch professional at all times. This guy knows what he is doing! The judge knew exactly who he was as he has tons of experience as well. I could not be more pleased with how things turned out for me. If you feel like you have been discriminated against at work then call him sooner rather than later!

I have retained numerous attorney's in Houston and Dallas primarily for business, but on occasion for personal or family issues. I have retained Mr. Davis for advise or representation on several occasions. I would not hesitate to retain him again and have recommended him to a number of my colleagues. In my experience, his knowledge of the law is unmatched by any other attorney I have retained. While his knowledge of the law is "best in class", this is not what set's him far above his piers. He is ability to use his unmatched legal knowledge and translate it to practical council to his clients is what truly sets him above and apart. Stated differently, Mr. David can quickly dissect the legal issue(s) at hand, and translate the full myriad of options that his clients can elect to pursue. He also provides a usable assessment of the amount of work and practicality of that the different options will involve (both priceless and unusual in my experience) . Through having Mr. Davis represent me, I have had the pleasure to personally observe him in research, consultation, negotiation and litigation. He is the most zealous advocate for his client of any of the other attorneys that I have engaged. He also provides this high level of advocacy without approaching the limits of any ethical standards, with his clients or with their adversary. Without reservation, I give Mr. Davis my highest level of recommendation.

Mr. Davis was very professional and knowledgeable. He listened to my issue and answered my questions and then explained my options in a way that I could understand. I have had contact with other lawyers who did not care to answer my questions that were on my mind and who failed to keep me informed about my case. He did not promise an outcome for my case but gave me legal information so I could make a good decision on how I would proceed. His office staff or Mr. Davis kept me informed about my case either through phone or email. Mr. Davis gave me his cell phone number so I had a way to contact him directly. This was very important to me as I had dealt with other attorneys who did not keep me informed of my case.

James Davis assisted me with assessing my legal rights as applied to personal legal matters in Texas. He responded in a timely manner. I was able to contact him by cell and text as well. I appreciate that he answers questions and explains fully any necessary information. He has a thorough in depth knowledge of the law. He knows a great deal about employment law and discrimination issues as applied to the workplace. I found him personable and straight forward with my best interest at hand.

I used Mr. Davis for two cases. One case involved employment litigation and the other personal injury. Mr. Davis is knowledgeable in both areas. His guidance helped me in how to proceed further in both claims.

I am a person with a disability and I have had difficulty in the work place setting. I contacted Mr. Davis and met with him for a consultation in 2012. He treated me with respect and listened patiently to my work issues. He understood that my goal was to maintain my job and to be treated with respect as the other employees in the work place. He gave me clear legal options that were open to me. He was responsive to my issues and identified some issues that I had overlooked. I found Mr. Davis to be very passionate about the law in general and an advocate of people with disabilities. His office or Mr. Davis kept me updated on the progress of my case and I had his cell number. I am pleased to say that I am employed full time and being treated with the same respect as the other employees. I can count on him. Proud to say he is my attorney!

Mr. Davis helped me with my slander case. He worked hard for me and offered me several options. I highly recommend him but he is not a discount lawyer.

In 2007, after a few phone call exchanges, James Davis charged $2500 and told me my employer would not negotiate and he needed another $2500 to file EEOC and labor law violations. I decided he had charged too much for 3 weeks worth involving one letter to my employer and one phone to their attorney who refused to negotiate. I filed with the grievance committee and Davis sent me threatening emails that he would sue me and even named the attorney he would use. I'm not sure why he needed an attorney when he was an attorney, but I still have his emails. The grievance committee told me to ask him for my money back. That's the only help I got back then from the Grievance committee. Davis sent me a check for $60 which I never cashed. Obviously, Davis does not want to return money he didn't earn and gets vindictive when a client complaints. I would be extremely concerned if he was hired as an attorney due to his unorthodox methods which could work against his client. He also canceled an appointment with me and rescheduled me at the same time with another client. This makes me think there are other issues with Davis. Davis was only responsive when I tried to get my money back, otherwise, it was difficult to contact him when I believed in him. I then found an attorney who would work on contingency and received $20K from my former employer three months later. That attorney received $7K for his efforts, so Davis missed out on an opportunity because he overcharges and intimidates his clients.
