My experience with Angela Faye Brown as an adoption attorney was disappointing. Despite paying a substantial amount, I saw little progress on my case. Initially, she was attentive and seemed genuinely invested, but over time, she became less available and harder to reach. Communication often revolved around fees, and even after I provided the correct information, my case was mishandled. After my file was sent to me, I discovered crucial information had been received earlier that I was never informed about, which could have impacted my case. I would not recommend this attorney, as I wouldn’t want anyone else to face the frustrations and setbacks I experienced. I regret choosing this attorney and hope others find a more reliable and responsive advocate.

I want to share my experience for your reference. I began my case with them at the end of August. Ms. Brown spoke with me for 30 minutes to understand my situation. Afterwards, their coordinator emailed the legal team to discuss the plan and timeline with me. According to their contract, they are supposed to respond to my emails within 48 hours. However, I waited a week for a reply and only received one after I called the office. Ms. DeYoung then started working on a petition letter for me but incorrectly noted my child's SSN. She assured me she would correct it and send the revised version for my signature, but then she forgot. After waiting another two weeks, she finally sent it to me only after Garret, the coordinator, reached out to her. Throughout September, there was no progress on my case. Frustrated, I terminated my contract with them and decided to file on my own. It took me just 10 minutes to complete the filing online. I can't believe I paid $750 and wasted an entire month without any results. I initially sought their help because I thought my case might become complicated and I hoped to receive expert advice. Unfortunately, I found their level of professionalism lacking. When clients pay for a service, it’s essential to take that responsibility seriously. I gave two stars because the front desk lady and Garett are very nice and helpful.
